Very Loud
It's very loud. If the purpose is to scare the "attacker" away, it'll do that. But it just sounds like a car alarm & most people wouldn't move off of the couch if they heard a car alarm. Someone needs to create one that says something to the effect of, "Help! Call the Police" and "Help! I'm in danger!". That'll really stop an attacker if they think the police is being called. Also, the pin is very hard to pull. If you're being attacked, I don't see how you can fight off an attacker & pull the pin at the same time unless it's hanging around your neck in which a lanyard was included.

Great product.
Four men started to rob my Daughter in a parking garage and she pulled this off her purse. They ran like crazy! I Purchased another for her, her Mother and Sister. Well worth the money!!!
