I have skinny cankles, so the back and front rub a little bit, but are not uncomfortable in distances under a mile. For every day use they are amazing.

Let me say up front I do like the shoe. It’s great for everyday wear (I’m a professor) and stylish enough to go with most of my clothes. It seems well made and has sturdy soles, two requirements for someone who is on their feet a lot teaching. I also have big feet (14W) and this was one of the few brands I found in my size, so kudos to them for thinking of the big guys.I also wear special orthotics for plantar fasciitis. Normally this just means taking out the insole of new shoes and inserting my special insoles. However, Clark’s has made that incredibly difficult because they GLUE their insoles in the shoe! It took me over half an hour to peel the insole out in little chunks. It was really glued tight. Even now there are still residual elements of foam that I just can’t get out and which causes slight discomfort under my orthotics. Not sure I’d buy this brand again.Summary: good shoe but not friendly to people who wear orthotics.

This is the 4th pair. I buy these for my husband. He lives the light weight comfortable fit. Makes walking all day at his job easy and helps his. Knees. Looks great for work or out and about. The only issue is that the sole wares out and looses its tread too soon making them slick on a wet surface.

My husband needed a new pair of shoes. We went to store where he gets his shoes, but they didn’t have his size. I looked on Amazon and found them. They came quickly. He wears them all day and still comfortable.

My hard to please honey is very happy with these shoes. It sure was easier than going from store to store He was pleased as soon as he put them on.
