Love this pen! My only 2 complaints: the black paint is coming off the ridge where the cap secures onto the pen, and the ink runs out quick! I've owned the pen for 1 month and, under regular use, I've already gone through 2 vials of ink.

I followed all the instructions for loading the ink cartridge and no matter what I do, this pen will not write.It's a beautiful pen but I cannot get it to write. I have several different fountain pens and am quite experienced in their use. This one was a disappointment.

For my grip, the barrel is too small and led to a bit of carpel tunnel and cramping. A foam collar, which I haven't gotten yet, might help. Simple metal barrel. Writes well.

Thr first one that arrived really didn't work: I crammed the cartridge on as hard as I could and it never pierced the plastic. Arranged a return, dropped it at Kohl's. I'd assumed that at this price it was just a piece of junk, but i decided to give them another chance, not expecting much. And im glad i did.The next day a replacement arrived that works fine: good, even ink flow, nice lines, feels comfortable in my hand--serious weight. Well worth the price.

I think I ended up with a bad pen, but almost immediately I had issues. I used the included ink and writing was fine for the first use. I capped the pen and came back a few hours later to a dead inkflow. I was able to revive it once but not since then. I have less expensive pens that have held up so much better. I'm disappointed.

I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this and I just want to say, that mine is amazingly perfect! Writes smooth. Just enough ink flow. I will admit I have quite the pen collection, and this is my new favorite! 💙

This is a budget, daily use nib pen. The look and feel of the pen and the box that it comes in fall short of gift quality, but the pen is serviceable, the price is modest, and the 30 cartridges help justify the purchase. I put a 1-1/16 inch wooden dowel in the end of the barrel as a spacer to keep the cartridge from backing out and leaking ink. For the plunger reservoir, a 3/16" spacer dowel is about right.
