The media could not be loaded.  This tortilla press really makes it much easier to make your own tortillas, which I can confirm taste so much better than store bought. They’re easy to make with this guy too! It presses the dough down evenly, and the added perk of including precut parchment papers made it so easy.The press itself is heavy cast iron. It’s solid and has a lot of weight to it. If you’ve ever used a cast iron skillet, think the same. You simply place your dough on parchment paper on both sides and close the top and use the handle to securely squish the dough down. It works so much easier than rolling dough, and it also works as a great meat press for smash burgers.The only con is that the handle isn’t attached when you get it, and you have to secure it onto the screw and nut bolt. Mind didn’t have any tools with it, so my other half had to find a pliers and a screwdriver. You definitely can’t secure it by hand and needs basic tools.

I love how sturdy it is. That's the only thing i love about it. Otherwise i hate it with passion. The tortillas are so thick is ridiculous and then super small. The paint chipped from the handle and fell all over the masa. I wish i would have used it sooner and return it.

The hinge bended whenever we tried pressing the tortilla dough. It did not end up pressing the dough very much. The product we received was defective

As a recent transplant to New Mexico I've been wanting to make my own tortillas for a while. I knew that I wanted an 8 inch, cast iron press and so I was very excited to try this out from Vine.Overall I'm very happy with this press. It's heavy cast iron and feels very durable. When it arrives you unwrap everything and then attach the handle to the press yourself, which was easy to do.The weight of the press is great the handle and hinges work really well to open, close, and press the dough. The press did come with a few parchment paper rounds, but I know that you can order others as well.Overall this is a great press and I'm very happy with it.

durable product by my tortillas stay very thick in my opinion, not very happy with the results

This is an authentic tortilla press, the larger size makes it very easy to use. On taco night the customers love seeing them being made we press them by the wood fired pizza oven and toss them in to bake. Great heavy duty fast pressing tortilla press!

Excellently made heavy cast iron press. Easy to use and easy to clean. Weighted just enough to easily press tortillas without over pressing.-came with a number of parchment rounds if preferring that over plastic wrap pressing

Handle snapped off the first time we used it!
