HasbroDohVinci Mini Project Asst - modeling dough (Female)

This is quite fiddly to put together and not particularly sturdy - one knock and it all falls apart. Admit, I loved it, although my 11 year old found the gun too hard and gave up. Ended up a present for me!

I got this Styler along side some refills. It is easy to use and the colours that come with it are bright and attractive. Play-Doh Vinci enables you to decorate items in 3D, and it sticks onto many things. This is distinct from standard Play Doh because it dries hard and is meant to be more permanent than usual Play-Doh.The styler is easy to use, it may take some practice initially, it's a bit like frosting a cake. I decided to use it on my own craft projects as opposed to buying a set to decorate; I made Play-Doh cupcakes and used the Doh Vinci as the frosting, I also made a Frozen Elsa ornament and used it to decorate the dress, and for the detailing on a Play Doh mermaids tail. It also comes with some shaped nozzles to create stars, hearts and flowers etc.Pros. Easy to use, the colours load straight into the styler and away you go!. Lovely bright attractive colours. 3D decorating that lasts. Sticks to many things including plastics and cardboardCons:. Doesn't last very long, I recommend the refills as the three tubes will run out quickly. Smaller children may find it too difficult as you need a bit of force on the triggerOverall this was a good buy, I managed to get quite a few craft projects done out of it and the refill pack and still have some left over.

This was the main thing my daughter (9yrs) wanted for Christmas this year and it has been something of a disappointment. She has found it difficult to use, dough won't stick to the template and you can't practice with the nozzles without wasting dough as there is no way of putting the dough back in to the tubes. Daughter had a go with this on Christmas day and has not touched it since. It took 3 days for the dough that she got on to the template to actually set. Its not very imaginative and I am certain she will not be wanting the other kits.

i no this will be a hit for my 7 year old, 2nd one we have bought as other one finished

After all the advertising we had seen for this product on the tv this was the top of my daughters birthday list for her 6th birthday.Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. The first problem is the contraption that you apply the play doh to the frame with. It's really hard to push the doh onto the frame, especially for a 6 year olds little fingers. My daughter was getting really frustrated with this, and it makes it impossible to follow any sort of pattern on the frame. Then the play doh did not stay stuck to the cardboard frame very easily, which again was very frustrating for my daughter.In the end my daughter got fed up with this, and we are left with a large, odd shaped frame with a few random blobs of play doh stuck on!!! And as the frame is odd shaped and cardboard, it doesn't want to sty standing up.I would not recommend this product.

This is a great crafty item which has been put away for my daughter for Christmas. She's a great fan of Doh Vinci and have found all their products to be good value and entertaining. My daughter is also left handed and often struggles with craft activities but finds this easy and fun!

Not worth the money an u carnt even paint with it like it sez xx

I bought a selection of play-doh doh Vinci products for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She has has hours of fun & made some quite nice things, some of which she has given as gifts. I would recommend this for children that are art & enjoy doing craft type activities.
