Plastic is a little on the smooth side but my 6yr old Hermanis a good climber and it gives her a challenge. The one the delivered to me was green (fairly bright) so if your wanting aesthetics maybe consider the importance of colour before chancing this purchase- big enough and deep enough by far for my hermanns (but they tend to be small torts compared to other breeds) .... She bathed in it straight away - so thumbs up from her and the climbing challenge will be balanced by the slide on the way out down the smoother than expected ramp.

Not extra large
Slightly misleading as being extra large as the usable area of the rock pool is only 7 inches by 7 inches.We have two young tortoises and half of that room was taken up when they got in it, so not extra large.Build quality ok.

Quality bowl, it is extremely large so suitable for big/medium tortoises, although my bowl came as plain grey, not the picture given. However it is very well made and solid

A very poor buyin my view
This is not as shown in the picture. the ramp part is so smooth that my tortoises cannot climb it ( they are only 4 years old so not very big yet). The ramp needs to be more ridged. A very poor buyin my view.
