I installed pfSense on this unit and then placed it at a remote site where we maintain Internet connectivity for a multi-tenant office building. We serve multiple tenants from this device and have consolidated several virtualized pfSense into a single hardware platform. It does exactly what we ask it to do and with excellent reliability. It's sturdy and features good wall-mounting option. The aluminum case and heat-sink appears to be very effective, although we're not stressing it much with just gigabit connections. Would recommend.

Using this as a server to manage 28TB of files over a network. The CPU is more than fast enough to saturate a gigabit connection. At one point, I had it encoding H.264 live-streams. The large heatsink body keeps the CPU extra cool with its sheer thermal mass for spiky or inconsistent CPU loads. For sustained loads, the CPU still stays in very acceptable range. I wouldn't go so far as to put this in my attic in a Texas Summer, but this PC should definitely handle the heat in an automotive or industrial application! This little guy has been stable enough to run Windows 10 for weeks at a time between automatic updates, which is not something my other mini PC servers can claim.

This is great comes with windows installed but doesn't make sense for a firewall router. Is supper easy to install pf sense on it and use that for network management and firewall. Really has 2.5gb networking.
