The first earring we tried to use malfunctioned horribly. The plunger got stuck, and I tried to press it again. Nothing happened. I had to push it back manually, and the post had not attached to the back. After examining the earring, it was not right. I'm not sure if that is what caused the malfunction, but my daughter and I were too traumatized to try anymore. We removed the one earring and didn't continue.

This was super easy to use and the same set up that was used where I took my other 2 daughters to get their ears pierced.( Would have gone back to that place for my youngest, but they ended up closing during 2020.) I was more nervous than my 5 yr old, she didn’t even shed a tear where as I was tearing because I was so grateful I didn’t accidentally pierce her eyebrow because I was so dang nervous.

Everything comes as pictured only thing was my box was damaged an opened so good thing it’s shipped inside another package other than that super happy

Worked great

Both times the gun jammed on my daughter's ear. The first time with the first hole, the back didn't attach so the earring tip pierced but pulled back out and was left in the gun exposed. I quickly pushed it through the same hole but then the back went on crooked and the gun stuck to the side of her head. I finally found a tiny plastic tab to break off and release the earring, let her calm down and prepare for the second one. Firm and steady push and then it got stuck again but I broke off the tab quickly. Her ears are pierced neat, even and clean, but it was a bit of work and stress.

I love this brand of at home piercing kit. I bought a similar one before and pierced my daughters ears. I added a 4th hole to my bottom ear lobes with this kit. They look amazing. Was easy to use.
