Soren. SOREN.
I wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did. Seriously, it completely blindsided me, forcing me to write a short review.I expected just a light romance to occupy a couple of days of my summer and BOY DID I GET THAT AND SO MUCH MORE.Honestly, I could prattle on endlessly about all the aspects of this novel that I loved, but despite being a writer myself, I wouldn't succeed in expressing the true magnitude of this novel.Definitely a special one!Go, my child, GO!

Le sigh...Soren Decker...but what no Epilogue...Ugh why?!
I’ve read plenty of roommate romance books but Roommates with Benefits by Nicole Williams is one of the best I have ever read. This book is a romcom with plenty of funny banter, chemistry that just bounced off the walls and an unforgettable swoon worthy hero. When Hayden Hayes answers an advert for a roommate she never expected her roommate to be male. Stuck in a new city and a schedule for her modelling career she is forced to lodge with sexy baseball player Soren Decker. Whilst Hayden adjusts and embraces her independence Soren is that sweet and protective guy wanting to look out for her. I loved that the author gave insight into the modelling world in Hayden's journey, and showed the unglamorous side models have to face in booking modelling jobs. For me Soren Decker is what made this book a favourite read. He was adorable, sweet, sexy, cheeky, thoughtful, loving and protective. The attraction and connection between Soren and Hayden was so hot and addictive to read. Whilst Soren is a typical messy guy with his clothes Hayden is a neat freak so when they clashed it heightened the sexual tension, and I have to say I loved reading every second of it.Roommates with Benefits definitely had a different vibe to it and I devoured the pages. The romance between Hayden and Soren was heart melting, and Soren's brothers were a hoot with their banter! Also the cover for this book is absolutely perfect! The only reason this didn’t hit five stars for me was because of poor editing; having to read duplicated words that interrupted sentence flow, and the fact it lacked an epilogue, like are you kidding me?! This book definitely needed an epilogue because a hea with Soren Decker hello?!

Good Summer Read
This book has a secret weapon to keep you interested in the form of the male character, Soreen. He is definitely something special. I had a few issues with a couple of parts of the book but overall it is a good summer read.

Couldn't put it down
I was hooked. Soren was such a likable character. The girl was slightly annoying with her naivety. But thr romance between them was great

Aww
Really, enjoyed this book. The main female character annoyed me a little, her doubt was getting on my nerves. If you have someone make you their whole world, embrace it, don't destroy it. Other than that, a great story, read it in one sitting 😁

I wish Soren was my roommate
When I read the blurb I knew I had to read this book.Things between Soren and Hayden where quite slow building, but you could tell they were perfect for each other. This was a sweet romance that kept me hooked. I totally feel in love with Soren even though he was only twenty he seemed older and was so mature. I did like Hayden, but at times she could be a little annoying, something that came from her age and insecurities. With both of them hoping to making it their chosen careers came responsibility in life, but also in love.I'm a big fan of Ms. Williams work and Roommates With Benefits didn't disappoint.

One of the best in the roommates genre
I love roommates romance stories. And this one is one of the cutest and sweetest that I have read.I loved how independent they were and how they slowly grew close.Also- adored Soren. Why can't more authors write characters like him?

Started off promising... Proceeded to tip off a cliff...
...if it weren't for Soren I'd give it a 1*. I love Soren, I think he's an amazing character for the most part but Hayden actually dragged this book down for me... a lot. That and all the missed opportunities with some of the things going on in the book... great set-up for conflict - little to no follow-through, so a lot of abandoned potential. Not a lot of character development is fine for Soren since he's very easy to read and straightforward by nature.. but Hayden was a mess, considering how "complicated" she's supposed to be. She didn't really come across as the sort of character I could empathize with or even like! Her snotty attitude was justified in the very beginning but later, having her chalk it up to her daddy issues and calling it a day just seemed... flat, half-baked, like an afterthought parading as a deep dimension of her character.... The attempt fell short and flat; the word 'love' was being thrown about but never adressed and arrgghhh there were just holes, holes everywhere...I suppose if I'd gotten to this book before reading something substantial like Ginger Scott or Sara Wolf's stuff I might have been satisfied. But for all the glowing reviews I'm seeing on here I really expected more from this book than for it to hinge on literally one character and that character not even being the narrator..

Two strong characters & a feel good romance
This was a great read. I loved how put together both of the characters were in working towards their own goals and dreams. I enjoy reading about a couple that does not sacrifice their dream to make someone else's a reality. I also loved the slow build up of their relationship and how natural it felt. I really enjoyed reading about these two strong characters. I also loved that their intimacy was raw and felt real like two people in love. It was refreshing and innocent then turned even hotter the more in love they became. A nice pace and change from a lot of the books out there.

You will want to read this more than once.
I loved this book. They were really young at 19 but I loved the anticipation that was built in waiting for them to get together.

PERFECTION.
"Thank you for being my first.""Thank you for being my only."Roommates with Benefits is absolutely heart-wrecking good! I. Was. So. Hard. To. Put. This. Book. Down! Even just for a minute. I never wanted to stop, I wanted to continue and continue. I have NEVER put so many markers in one book as in RWB. So much good stuff, so many feels! I already know now I'll be re-reading this one someday for sure. That's how good it was.I have to admit that the cover caught my attention! It's absolutely gorgeous and beautifully made. Hands down to the designer. But I also absolutely love the photo choice! That guy looks handsome as hell and he is my Soren, I literally saw him like that in my head. 5 extra stars for that! haha"I'm a man. I know what I want and I'm going to get it."Hayden and Soren's story was absolutely amazing written. Soren is THE man! He won my heart and earned his place on my book boyfriend list! He's awesome. Bossy, messy, cocky, infuriating and doesn't believe in personal space. That about sums up who and what Soren is like! He's perfect. I love him. I wish we had a couple of chapters with his POV. That was one thing I was missing in this book. Nonetheless, I love RWB so much. It's very well written and keeps you wanting more. Even when it's over.Their relationship is anything but easy. But watching these two grow so close together was amazing, going from Roommates to... Roommates with Benefits. ;)"Before you go - I still love you.""I still love you too."Hayden is still hurting by what hurt her so long ago and that's why she's so scared to let herself get and have who she wants so badly. Soren is a loyal man who'll do anything for the woman he loves. And he does, even when she pushes him away. Even when she doubts everything, he stays with her.It was just absolutely beautiful to read. Really, really beautiful.I loved it. I'm a mess.♥

A believable love...
There's just something about a Nicole Williams book that makes me completely lose myself for a couple of hours as I read it from cover to cover in one sitting. That's exactly what I did with 'Roommates with Benefits.' Yet, this was an unexpected read for me. Based on the synopsis I expected it to be much steamier however, was surprised by this sweet, slow burning romance. This story is a slow burn with a good portion of the story is spent on them being roommates and then friends. This is what Nicole Williams excels at in my opinion and why you always fall in love with her characters. Soren and Hayden were no different.Seron and Hayden are in the pursuit of their big city dreams. If Hayden and Soren weren’t so down to earth you could easily hate them. After all, Hayden is an upcoming supermodel, quickly becoming a big name, while Soren is one game away from being a professional baseball player. He has more experience as she is a small town girl, but as soon as they start rooming together (in a crappy, tiny studio apartment mind you) their bond begins to form. Through the friendship, readers get to see Seron as more than just a man pursuing his dreams. Although he was raised well, he is still young and can be immature, but that becomes part of his charm. Honestly Soren is a hoot - his humour is on point, and I loved his romantic streak.Hayden’s life is going exactly as she wants, and as they say... “she’s going places.” Though she never gets a big ego, and has a joy for life that’s likeable. The natural flow between Hayden and Soren is pretty special and the natural flow of their relationship without the usual exaggerated drama/angst you get from books in this genre makes this a believable love. The ending is perfect, and Soren, as he did through must of the book, said the most perfect things. 'Roommates with Benefits' by Nicole Williams is a sweet, slow-burning, and sexy read. The characters are great, especially Soren, and the friendship between the two shines from page one. Williams writing style is fantastic, she knows just how to draw the reader in and I connected with the characters from the very beginning. She writes an awesome, sexy, funny, story that had me reading it all in one sitting.
