Falcon 10 Meter Dipole Antenna

I’ve hit Slovenia, Italy, Canada, Mexico with this dipole on my IC705. Works perfect for me.

Out of the box worked great.

I paired this 'Little Wonder' with an Anytone Quad 6 to get my first QSOs on HF. Took a bit long for it to arrive, and there is some goo coming out the ends of the center insulator, but...so far, so good. Got my first POTA QSO today too...800 miles away, with the antenna hanging from my ceiling. This past weekend I received a station in Tokyo, ten times that far away. Your mileage may vary, but the Falcon is an excellent first step into the fascinating world of HF.

I’m new to Ham radio and wanted to get on the air fast. I bought this for the time savings of building one myself.Initial SWR was around 2.0-2.2 out of the box only a few feet off the ground. I hung it in my hallway the first day and made a QSL from VA to Costa Rica, later to Brazil. I’ve since hung it in my attic and shorted it by twisting it on itself about 6” from each side. I now read 1.2-1.5 throughout the 10m band. I could try to fine tune it a little more, but I’m perfectly happy. Will definitely come back for more antennas as I grow in the hobby.

Easy to assebmle. First night i spoke to Buenos Aries, Argentina grom Dahlonega Ga.

Great add to my POTA go kit, is used with 50' Coax on a 20' Flag Pole. Can work most of the states with this on 10m.

Instructions for tuning are vague at best. But thankfully don’t need to swr of 1.2 across the band.
