This is a good product with a good amount of brightness and it is quite pretty. It is good enough for a side lamp while sleeping. It is not as big as it appears in the picture but it is good enough.

Not a scuff or scratch, light also works. I wish it showed up a tad better without light. I purchased it for other than what it was deaigned for. I attached it to the top of my walking stick for decoration. When placed on its proper light however, it looks just wonderful. It was the risk i took for repurposing it.

This is going to be a gift for someone who loves astronomy. It's very bright and the detachable globe can be set at any angle.

The globe, itself, is perfect and exactly the size I expected. I'm not sure why other buyers are complaining that it's small. It's exactly as described and the moon looks really good. But the wooden base is junk. In fact, the one I received was mildewy. I had to wipe it down and sand it to get it clean. It's unfinished, pretty rough and the absolute cheapest lightweight wood possible. Don't expect fine quality for the price but it'll probably be fine with more sanding, staining and some polyurethane. The light is bright. Too bright to use as a nightlight, in my opinion. The globe acts sort of as a lens and projects a bright spot on the ceiling.
