Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye Volume 6: Dawn of the Autobots Paperback – 23 Dec. 2014

I've loved MTMTE. As an original Gen 1 UK TF comics fan (and indie rock fanatic), the series seems written just for me- the first story here is called 'World Shut your Mouth!' for goodness sake- and so I think this is a fantastic continuation of the greatest 'giant-robots-pointlessly-bickering-in-space' comic books ever.If that sounds too niche, James Roberts is the anti-Bay and the natural heir to Simon Furman in the transformers canon, able to construct sympathetic characters, humorous dialogue and high-stakes action from some of the more... unpromising parts of the TF Universe. I won't spoil the plot, but this book picks up from Dark Cybertron and features everyone dying, crewditions, fingers in the heads, and the dream Nightbeat-Megatron team-up we never knew we needed. For the love of god though, don't start the series here, it just won't make sense (not that sense-making is particularly high on the agenda).Even better, my Kindle and Kindle app love this book too, and panel view works well through the whole thing! Hooray all-round.
