Especially useful when you've bought the wrong cable (USBC to USBC instead of USBC to normal larger USB-B)... Cable can take some tugging (not that you should tug your cables!) before coming out of the adaptor. Would be infuriating but it's surprisingly satisfying instead since it grips the cable firmly. :-)

We changed all our plug sockets over to ones that also had USB-A charging slots - only for USB-C to be introduced! 🤦‍♀️So, these little adapters are a godsend and mean we don't have to change the sockets, but simply attach one of these to each USB-C charging lead to convert it to USB-A.At time of review, there is 20% off this pack of 4, making them £2 each, which is a bargain.I am extremely pleased with them. 👍

These work beautifully! There are four in the pack (which is actually three more than I need). I have an Apple Watch charger that I was struggling to ise because all my chargers are USB, so this fixed that problem perfectly.Solid, good fit and confident will last.

Exactly what I needed , build quality is first class

USB-A sockets are still ubiquitous on older computers, cars, and wall outlets but pretty much all portable devices have switched over to USB-C ports in the last couple years. At some point, all of us will find ourselves needing to charge a phone or tablet from a USB-A port and wish we had one of these handy. These are a great solution because they're so compact and relatively inexpensive.

I was planning on using this to connect an external drive to a PS5, but now I am not sure this will work, or work well. I did not notice that these are usb 2.0, I had gotten other adapters that are 3.0 so I just assumed these would be too. Also these say charging converter so not sure they will work on data transfer, if they do they'll be really slow due to the 2.0 protocol.However that's on me mostly for not adequately reading the description. I'll just use one of the other adapters and use this one for charging bc that is what I was using the other for. Works fine for that, for charging things that don't use magsafe or other wireless charging.
