Great Western - London to Swindon (PC CD)

There is nothing much wrong with this simulation but it needs to go on to Bristol to complete the journey. Brunels line is flat and fast so there isn't too much to do but sit back and enjoy the ride - as far as it goes.

I like it, but I feel there is no challenging Activities on the Add on! Not like the others, but I would recommend it for beginners to practice on.

Having reviewed all the information on the Web regarding this software, we were expecting the area covered to show somewhat more detail than we eventually saw. Firstly, this software doesn't work with anything other than the original Microsoft Train Simulator, (As confirmed during a telephone communication with the software distriburor), so any scenery etc is very basic and there didn't seem to be anything other than a straight train journey, (i.e. no station activity, etc.). Secondly, at least using the XP Professional operating system, the stations didn't appear at all and the scenery kept repeating in a continuous cycle, making the simulation rather unreal. After several removals and re-installations, nothing seemed to improve, so we removed the programme from the desk top.

Easily installed and working without problems on Windows XP.

I liked it but i was hoping it went all the way to Bristol

Not had time to watch just yet, but im sure it will be as brill as the others.

Not bad, earlier time than I thought otherwise ok.

I am enjoying using Train Simulator with The Paddington to Swindon Route.I remember the old GWR just after the war and it was the best railway in the countryTruly Gods Wonderful Railway.Would recommend it to any one with Train Simulator and XP Operating System
