Cook !
Oh how fabulous! Duncurin’s grandson is now about 19m old. There is nothing he likes more than being held at a safe distance while his mummy does some cooking. He points to the pans as she stirs and adds ingredients, knowing that his tea will soon be following. He’ll then get in the mood as the pots and pans bubble and boil with the simple word, “cook!”.For Christmas it was kind of Santa to bring him his very own kitchen complete with oven, microwave, rings, sink and coffee machine. It comes with one or two kitchen tools all in wood of course but lacks pots and pans. Enter this fabulous set, courtesy of vine. His eyes lit up as soon as he saw them and as soon as we’d carefully unpacked them he staggered over to his kitchen in order to try them out saying that he was going to, “cook”.They are beautifully made with nice subtle colours and secure handles, all made in wood and with nice fitting lids. They even come with their own utensils which are perfect when you are stirring the pans and adding contents to the casserole dish. Our only concern was that the casserole dish when assembled complete with lid was a teeny bit heavy for him to carry but in fairness the box indicates that these pots are designed for 2y +. No matter, as he had a great time. He has a small collection of vegetables like banana, strawberry, corn on the cob made by jellycat and these went in the pans along with his Lego carrot which can be broken down in slices and then added to the pots as he has seen his mummy do with real food. All in all, these are wonderful additions to the aspiring cook and those little ones who are keen to copy their parents with some cooking of their own. Please see some pics of the meal in progress but this is a fabulous way to spend some quality time doing ‘real’ things with the little one in your life. Many thanks.

Perfect for my daughter
A great price for an excellent and high quality wooden item. The wooden pots and lids are durable and sturdy, painted lovely, it has smooth edges and a lovely, natural feel. everything comes so well packaged in a cardboard box. It also includes a wooden spatula and spoon.these should last really well, great for creative play.

Quite expensive
This wooden pan set is really good quality and very durable. The wood is very smooth and hasn't got any sharp edges. It's in very vibrant colours so it's eyecatching for a toddler. It's a good set to put with other wood sets especially a wooden kitchen but wouldn't be any good by itself. It is a little overpriced but good quality.

Great quality, look like they will be hard wearing and durable
Just a really lovely, good quality set of pots and pans. They’re not particularly cheap, but they’re still good value because the quality is excellent. You get three pans (well, one pot and two pans) and two lids as well as two utensils, allowing for great imaginative play. They’re realistic enough to feel like the real thing to a child and solid enough to be undoubtedly hard wearing and durable. Very happy to recommend these.

Fantastic Toy Cookware Set!
We've long been Bigjigs fans in our house. The toys and accessories are always well made, safe, look fantastic and are made from quality materials. This set of toy pans was no exception. The pans are very well made and painted in lovely vibrant colours using child friendly, safe, paint. They're also extremely durable and made to last. My nieces (who I ordered these for) will put them through some serious playtime and I know they'll hold up long term (as other Bigjigs toys we have, have proved). They've already had a good bash around and the paint hasn't chipped and the pots remain unmarked and undented. The craftsmanship on these pans really is superb. Each piece is beautifully finished, with smooth edges and a lovely, natural feel. It's compatible with little wooden kitchens (my nieces have an Ikea one and these fit on there fine) and includes enough pots and pans as well as a little wooden spatula and spoon to keep little ones entertained.Anything that encourages imaginative play is a winner in my book. It's well-made, engaging, and sure to provide hours of entertainment for any wannabe young chef. Recommended.

Sustainable play, smaller than expected
Introduced the wooden pots and pans set to my toddler, aiming to spark some kitchen creativity. The quality is immediately noticeable, feels sturdy and well-crafted. Watching their imagination come alive as they "cook" meals is a joy. It's become a favourite, often the first toy they reach for. Playing alongside peers, I've noticed an improvement in their communication and teamwork skills. The sustainable aspect is a bonus, aligning with our family's values. While it's been a hit, the size felt a bit small at first glance, but it hasn't hindered the enjoyment.

Great quality pots and pans set
This is a really good set of play pots and pans. They are all made of wood, and are sturdy and quite heavy. These pans are clearly built to last, and I'm sure they are going to survive lots and lots of play time. The pans are also a really good size, and slightly larger than all the play cookware we already have. They are small enough for little hands and fit well in the play kitchen, but they are large enough to hold lots of play food.It comes with 2 utensils, which are a slotted spoon and a spatula. My kids particularly liked the slotted spoon, as its quite an unusual toy utensil, and it also functions well just as a spoon in the play kitchen. There are 2 pans with lids, a frying pan and a large pot, and both take the same sized lid, so the lids can be interchanged.
