Extremely intense, easy to mount
These are quite bright even at 10mA, and absolutely dazzling at the recommended maximum of 700mA. They do warm up very quickly at maximum current if not mounted on a heat sink, but there's a large metal surface on the reverse that's electrically isolated from both terminals, so it's quite easy to dissipate the heat. (You could probably even solder it to a copper plate with low-temp solder.)HIGHLY recommended.
