I liked the fit of the garment. Unlike some onesies this one does not need to be removed when pup needed to go outside or use pee pads. The spay site was fully protected from her being able to bother the stitches.Measuring for the fit is very important since the garment should not be too loose fitting. In our case a 'cone of shame' was not needed at all, though if your dog does a lot of licking it may be a good idea to have spare onesies so surgery site doesn't stay moist long - or have an e-collar available.

Bought for Lab for after spay surgery. Fit is loose through body and suit migrates to rear as dog moves, restricting the front legs and hanging over tail. Constantly having to readjust suit to keep it on. Do not feel it is a size issue as we used two different sizes with same result - could not have gone smaller or larger for a better fit. Luckily could be with her at all times though recovery but would not recommend leaving pet alone without ane-collar and depending on suit for protection.

2nd one ordered. Runs small. Ordered large for my 20lb French Bulldog and fits just right. Easy to wear and remove. Do not hesitate comparing with others. This is the one to buy.

I wish I had spent more money on a recovery suit for my dog after she was spayed. I went by the measurements, but this is so stretchy that my dog slipped out of it during the night. I had to safety pin the top the top to try to keep it on her, but it still kept slipping. A word of warning: there are about 20 tiny snaps to fasten in order to put this on!

Covers up the spay line and to prevent nursing. Excellent for what it was used for
