product worked fine - make sure you're happy with placement!
i know we are told not to pierce with guns but i have to say it's extremely convenient and cheap.mechanism worked fine. be firm when pressing.i made a firm press and the casing to the stud fell off as the metal went through the nostril. no reaction to the metal etcno infection etc as yet - i've only pierced for 36 hours and infections etc is more how you care/clean rather than to do with the mechanism and product itself.my tips-test out where on your nose you want to position the pierce - look at photos before you start to work out how high you want your stud and how far forward to the point/tip of your nose.draw dots on your nose and take a photo to help you work out if the position is goodi think i did mine a little more towards my cheek rather than the tip of my nose but i'm happy enough so wont do it again.press firmly until you hear a snap noise.enjoy your new face decoration - little crystals are flattering on everyone!*** update - 7 weeks in now and no piercing bumps/irritation or infection so far but i've been VERY careful not to catch it on clothes or touch it.

Painless!!
I pierced my nose in February this year, and the stud has stayed in since! It was so quick and easy to peirce and completely painless after the stud went in. I used hot water and salt around my piercing with a cotton bud for a week and still no infection or any defect! I highly recommend this item for those looking for a new look, for the price - this item is fab, quick and easy!!

Did the job quickly and effectively.
Pain free i don't think so :-)Was used to pierce a nose, was quick and did the job perfectly first go, but you still are expected to jump from the slight shock of doing it in the first place so not totally pain free!

painless, easy to use. once the initial bruising/swelling has gone down the nose stud is quite long but is very easy to take out and change
