I had a strawberry themed diamond art coaster set that I completed and they turned out so beautiful, I decided to use them as a wall hanging. I chose pink ribbon as I thought that would go best with the strawberry theme- not wanting the ribbon to be the central focus of the project.When the ribbon arrived I was happy that it was as thick as it turned out to be- because it works wonderfully with the size of the coasters. If you take a look at the photos that I included- you can see what I intend to do with the ribbon (and my diamond art project. I just need to get out the hot glue gun).Of course, I will have ribbon left over but I think it will be perfect for gift wrap (especially baby showers and birthday gifts) and other hobby/ crafting projects that come up. This is an item that I don't mind having on hand-If there are any questions about this Amazon item, feel free to reach out and ask. Please know that in my photos I have not yet glued the diamond art coasters onto the ribbon- I just wanted to give viewers an idea of what I wanted to do with the ribbon. Since I have eight coasters I was thinking of making two wall hangings- as I think one would be a beautiful gift (and I will keep the other). This ribbon is shiny on one side but not the other. It's got a course, woven appearance on the back. It will do if I want to keep the ribbon flat when wrapping a gift box, etc. but I really wouldn't use it if I want to tie a bow. The different textures would be distracting and make the bow look odd. The description does say it's single face polyester, so not really satin. 4 stars because the description is a bit misleading.
