Voltron Classic Black Lion Action Figure

For those complaining about the damaged package, it’s not bad. Not that it mattered for me because I was going to take them out and assemble Voltron anyway, package was going to be damaged regardless. Packages weren’t damaged either. For those complaining about it not being die cast metal, well, if you want that Voltron, add the $350 to this price and you can have the DIE CAST METAL.This Voltron is fantastic! Exceeded my expectations! This thing is huge as you can see in the pictures next to my 24oz yeti cup. I was not expecting it to be as massive as it was. All 5 came in 3 deliveries and I literally could not wait for them to come in so I could assemble Voltron! The plastic is durable, not cheap or flimsy. It doesn’t feel cheap one cool thing about him, is when you connect a leg or an arm and the “on switch” is on, (Black Lion/Voltron does talk) he says something along the line of “left arm, green lion on!) and the operator for that lion proceeds to say something and it does this for each operator till ALL of them are connected and he goes into this “battle ready” spiel that is SUPER COOL!This toy is extremely cool. Great for the price! Very Nostalgic since I had one as a kid and it was die cast metal that I intentionally broke so my mom would buy me a newer, better one....30 years later, I got my Voltron!

Amazing, my eight year old kid loved it! Can’t wait to collect them all 5 lions!, just as I remembered the original toys series when I was a child, 100% recommended!

The overall quality is excellent and well worth the money. The pain applications aren't perfect but they're entirely adequate and the overall color scheme and look of the mold is spot on. Even though the figure is a bit on the light and "hollow" side, it's still sturdy and has great ratchets - and it's big! And it's 60 sound effects/phrases! I personally got the whole set so that I could have Voltron, and he's absolutely awesome.

I purchased two of these, one for my office one for my son. Both needed some altering in order to engage all the lions. Once I added a small strip of balsa wood to the contact point in the shoulder of the black lion or the inside of the yellow line it worked flawlessly. It seems that the pieces were not made well enough to contact. But it was nothing that super dad couldn't fix with a little know-how from Santa Claus

Brings back memories, almost don't want to open the box... But I will later..

My 6 year old loves this. It's large, solid and fun to play with. He needs more lions!
