Does the job

These are not noticeably different than any 3/8 grade 8 flat washer I've ever ever used before in terms of flatness and dimensions. Have not used any yet long enough to tell if they perform the same though. They are certified so they should. Not much more than that can be said about a washer!

Couple of reasons: increased corrosion resistance, prevention of galvanic corrosion (common between aluminum and SS), cosmetic appearance (e.g. black vs. silver preferred or required, e.g. military applications).Pros: fair price ($0.12/each); fasteners are stamped; MAKERS BOLT has 51 offerings, mostly fasteners.Cons: country of origin not specified (could be:Taiwan, China, and the USA), Amazon page says "packaged" in the USA.Conclusion: At $12 for 100 washers ($0.12/each), rating this 4-stars (origin not specified).

Arrived exactly as described.No issues with any of the washers when using with corresponding fasteners.Good consistency with size, fit, and finish.Good value for the money compared to buying them locally.

Terrific pack of grade 8 washers. I use these on my tractor backhoe, zero turn mower, garden tractor, etc... Perfect size and I always have a washer ready in case I need to close a gap or increase space on an installation. I've never been disappointed with a yellow zinc, grade 8 bolt or washer.

Makers Bolt is doing Amazon distribution right! They are distributing quality hardware, which can be a bit of a minefield on this platform. These washers are as advertised. The pack came with 100 washers, and they work well with appropriately sized bolts.

This review is for the 3/8 flat washer. I received a full 100 of these washers, only two of them had edge defects and the rest are very nice quality. They look better than the illustration. The thickness ranges from .053” to .058” and the outside dia is between .811” and .822”. The inside diameter falls within .408” to .412”. 100 pieces weigh 9 oz. The finish is zinc plating with a yellow chromate and appears consistent and well covered. The only complaint I have is the HJ that is embossed in each washer. Looking closely at the illustration you can see it, but it is much more prominent when you look at the product. I haven’t seen flat washers with 3 dimensional marking like this, and personally I don’t care for it. Though the washers appear perfectly functional, I’m deducting one star for the metal stamp. 4 stars.
