Colonial Candle French Lavender Scented Jar Candle, 2 Wick, 3.5 oz, Mottled Wax Candle

Searched high and low for a few years for a bayberry candle with the right smell to burn on Christmas Eve and NYE and always came up disappointed. No longer! The scent is just right. If it's too strong, then just burn one wick. We did fine with 2 wicks burning but cut it back to one after it had been burning for a >8 hours, just to keep the ambience going and the waft in the air. It was nice that the intensity of the smell could be controlled like that. It smells like traditional bayberry and did not give me a headache, which was big plus, because I am highly sensitive to perfumy smells. Most importantly, it met my husband's approval who was constantly comparing the various bayberry candles over the years to the one his mother burned when he was a kid. and he was never thrilled with any of them, until this one. It has the perfect Christmassy bayberry scent, and it is very pretty displayed. I took a picture of it to get one next year. Hope they don't stop making it!

This candle has a wonderful odor that really m a kes room smell gd. It last longer than any other brand and burns clean. Great value for money.Love this brand of candle

Beautiful Nostalgic Scent of Christmas Past

The smell is really good and fills the room, but the burn is not clean. The candle wax turns grey on top where burned.

The fragrance is nice, and the container is pretty. However, what I ordered was buttercream, and it is actually butter rum.

This was the saddest excuse for a bayberry scented candle if ever there was one!Lol! Colonial candle company had a good history in the past, therefore I thought this purchase was a shoe in!After lighting it I was met with a flat , Smokey, un distinguished scent that was completely less than ordinary!I tossed it into the trash can, poor trash can!Onward and upward!
