Whenever I work under my car, I have to remove several of these to get the plastic cover beneath the engine. Not sure why they need these covers as cars have been fine for years. Perhaps to keep critters out? I did have to battle an oversized ground hog one day that had taken up residence in my engine bay on an old suv, but that’s another story. Anyway, everyone I finish the work and try to replace it, inevitably there is always one or two missing. Perhaps it’s the groundhog enacting revenge by sneakily stealing them while I’m busy? In any case, these came in handy to re-secure the plastic cover so that it no longer flaps while I drive. Definitely worth the time to replace the missing pieces and these work quite well.
