Roundup 119465 Gel Wand Weedkiller, Green, 4.7x16x71 cm

The picture is misleading - it appears to show that a refill is included, but it is not. The image and descriptionshould state this clearly. The picture does not look like the product packaging. In the actual packaging, the end of the wand is in front of the picture of the refill, making it clear that the refill is not present. The image on the site has been doctored to remove this.

The wand works well, just wish it actually came with the Gel as shown in the listing photo. All you actually get is a cardboard representation of the Gel applicator!I actually found it best to hold the wand in reverse as otherwise it can tire-out your hands pretty quickly with all that clicking.

This is the most useless ineffectual piece of rubbish I've ever has the misfortune to bother purchasing - closley followed by the refills which were equally useless. Felt this would have been marginally more ecologically sound than spraying stuff all over the place and breathing it in. Sadly my eternal optimism occluded natural reason.Don't waste your money. You'd be better getting industrial strength weedkiller and mixing with wallpaper paste. No really.

Sort of works, but very difficult to adjust and see if it's working.As you click the trigger you can hear it clicking the weed killer out, but you have to flip the whole thing face up to see if there is enough to actually apply before using it.Adjusting the length of the wand is fiddly and in no way easy. So you end up leaving it at whatever you manage and have to lean down to use it (defeating its purpose)All in all, it is just as effective as taping the weed killer applicator to a mop handle as it has to be flipped up either way.Does it job, but in hindsight I wouldn't bother buying

This arrived earlier than the stated time, -the only good news.I cannot extend it. I have tried everything, and risk injury or damage to it if I try forcing it. It also has a slight dent in the pole area, but I don't think this is the problem, though it has not enhanced my view of the thing.I also consider it quite unfair that some customers have received the gel with it, and others like myself, not.I owned one of these before, but left it behind when I moved countries. This does not compare at all; overall very disappointed.It will be returned and I will update how this seller handles that.Not good.17/11/20 UPDATE: this wand was returned on 11/11/20. i have yet to receive acknowledgement or refund.1/12/20 UPDATE: checked this date. Refund was issued on 18/11/20.The seller dealt with this correctly and promptly.The original issue/s remain however. These are handy things--if they work. (It would be an idea to check that the thing expands correctly before sending it out).

Received only the wand but not the round up. I wasn’t able to send it back . I couldn’t use it without the gel.

It is very handy for killing weeds without the backache. It is great for getting rid of weeds that keep coming through the gaps in slabs and along walls/fences. You could use it on large weeds in the lawn if you are careful. I bought it for awkward areas on hard landscape areas it would be ideal for use on gravel areas such as drives.Please Note the price is for the handle only.

This product is as described for the wand only. I found it very easy to extend the length and also attach the roundup container. Made it much easier for me me to apply gel to ground plants and reach up to use it on ivy. Very pleased. Comfortable to handle.
