Surprisingly functional white noise machine
I ordered this to review with fairly low expectations but was blown away by this.Whilst the machine is very compact, it packs a punch with its functionality. It comes with a power lead that can be plugged into a battery pack or a USB plug. An array of buttons on the front controls the functions of the white noise machine. There are several noises to choose from ranging from the subtle sound of rain to something louder like the box fans. With the range of sounds to choose from, there is something for everyone. The volume of each sound is also easily controlled, to find the perfect volume regardless of the background noise. If you're not a fan of the pre-programmed noises, you can easily connect your phone via Bluetooth to play sounds or music of your choice. I was expecting the speaker to be tinny and lack any depth but was surprised at the quality of the speaker even when playing music. Whilst it may not be the loudest it's a solid speak. The light function is optional and like the various noises has a range of colours and brightness that can be easily controlled.A minor niggle for me is the power lead, I'd wished they'd chosen something more stand like a micro-USB or USB-C port on the machine itself, but again this is a very minor niggle.A solid choice if you're after a white noise machine with some extras.

Possibly effective.
I've only had this for 4 nights but it looks like it may work to help me get to sleep a bit faster than without it.Despite the listing claiming it was powered via a USB C port it does not have a USB C port. Instead it uses a USB lead terminating in a thin prong. The cable is basically long enough to allow it to be plugged in to a USB plug socket (not supplied) at floor level (in an extension lead) and have the white noise generator on top of a standard height chest of draws, with just enough slack to allow it to be picked up to press its buttons. With a USB C port to power it, as advertised and expected, I could have simply swapped its short lead with a longer USB lead to allow more flexibility in where it's located, but because of the 'non standard' lead arrangement I am stuck with just over a meter of lead. The manual is also 'incorrect' regarding setting the timer. It describes, with a picture, a fairly large button on the top of the unit, used to set the timer. This button does not exist. There is instead a small button on the bottom of the unit. Pressing this button does nothing. Turning on the unit, waiting a minute or so, and then holding the button down, until a little orange/red LED lights up, is the way to go. if the button is then pressed again then the timer can be altered.Personally I prefer the rain sound, at very low volume, it's tolerable anyway. I haven't laid awake as I normally do for half the night whilst I've been using it, but I couldn't say with any accuracy how long it takes me to get to sleep, apart from that, as the rain sound is stilt here when I do, it must be under 2 hours.

Great compact white noise machine and bluetooth speaker.
The media could not be loaded. The JESWO Sound Machine comes boxed with a jack plug USB cable approx 1.3 metres in length. Also included in the box is an instruction leaflet. The machine isn't rechargeable, so needs to be plugged into a USB power supply to operate. As well as the enclosed instruction leaflet, the machine has a removable sticker on it above the operating buttons with operating instructions. This did come in useful as there is no mention of the Bluetooth mode in the instruction leaflet, however the sticker on the machine instructs the user to hold the power button for three seconds to switch the speaker to Bluetooth mode. Once in Bluetooth mode, I am able to pair the speaker to my phone and play music and audiobooks through it without issue. There are 13 different sounds to choose from, attic fan, box fan, large fan, grey noise, brown noise, pink noise, rain, thunderstorm, ocean, summer night, shushing, Brahms lullaby and Rock-a-bye-baby.The thunderstorm was a little disappointing for me to be honest. I was expecting the sound of a full on storm, but it's just the noise of rain with almost inaudible rumbles of thunder way, way off in the distance. However, the rain and ocean sounds are pleasant and relaxing, and the summer night sound seems to calm my dogs, which for me is brilliant. There is a button on the front of the machine to cycle through the different sounds, as well as a volume control button. The speaker can also be used as a light too. There are seven different light modes to choose from, warm light, cold light, red, green, cyan, blue or multicolour breathing. The brightness of the light can be turned up and down, as well as being completely switched off if required. Finally, underneath the speaker there is a timer that can be set to 0.5h, 1h, 2h, 8, or 10h's. I just usually plug it in and use it without the timer, but the timer is very handy if being used at night.I've really enjoyed using this speaker so far for calming my dogs and baby granddaughter, as well as just having a bit of soothing background noise on for myself or for playing music/audiobooks while cleaning. I'm very satisfied with it.

White Noise Machine
The media could not be loaded. I really like this little white noise machine. It's a nice small, easy to travel with portable size. It's lightweight, too. It has a variety of 13 sounds to choose from that are lovely. It's relaxing and fun, with the 7 colourful LED lights. It's good quality and currently selling for the pricey cost of £20.69, discounted from £22.99.
