This product definitely makes a noticeable difference in the quality of the air. As an allergy sufferer, I must say this has improved my life in the home. I only wish I had it installed sooner.Keep in mind, the manufacturer will not honor a warranty unless you purchase from and have it installed by a licensed AC company. They kicked me back to Amazon for the warranty even though it was installed by a licensed HVAC contractor.With that said I have to give kudos to the selling vendor, HVAC DEPOT LLC. My unit died a couple months after the install, and they immediately shipped me a replacement unit.Thank you HVAC DEPOT LLC!

In a previous home, we purchased one of these and it worked great. So when we moved, we bought another, this time from Amazon. After around 8 months of use, the unit died. That's when I found out that the company won't warrant their product unless you purchase from specific vendors and have it "professionally" installed. I worked in HVAC for 25 years at a major manufacturing company, but my dead air cleaner is not covered b/c I am not a professional and I purchased the unit from Amazon. I find this very interesting (and annoying, being out over $400 and all) and I can't help but wonder under what circumstances a manufacturer of a product would refuse to back a product b/c of who I bought it from. Makes me wonder if they know something about the products that end up on Amazon - you know, because they sold them to someone who sells them on Amazon. Are the units sold via Amazon factory seconds maybe? Anyway, there are many other companies out there that sell similar products. If you want the REMY HALO I recommend you contact your local HVAC contractor and be prepared to pay around $800...That's what we were quoted for this very same unit from our local company. As others have said in reviews, it's probably best to purchase it elsewhere, since your purchase on Amazon won't be covered by the warranty and it seems to be likely that units purchased here will fail.

We have 2 dogs that run in and out. Between them and cooking some foods you can get lingering smells. Installed this unit and it definitely helps wash the air of smells. We run our HVAC fan continuously and the house always smells fresh. It has also helped my wife's allergies.

I am hoping it will help with it because right now I tested positive. I did get it because my wife suffers from allergies. We live in a wooded lot in Texas with a lot of oak trees. Not only did I receive the product earlier than expected, I installed it the same day.If you plan on doing this as a DYI, and your duct work after the blower is metal, you will need a 3inch hole saw.I have locked my fan into 60% for tonight. I am going to bed with a slightly stuffed nose. I also suffer from allergies but not like my wife. I have wired the halo system in to come on only when the fan runs. I need the air in the house to exchange per the guidelines. We will see what happens.Did I mention, Alex was great? If not Alex was great.Barney in Texas 7/23/2020... I have been researching for a product that would protect my 84 year old mother with lung problems and has chronic allergies and asthma.This is the only product out there that was designed to kill the most aggressive contaminants (SARS, Legionnaires Disease, etc) and is actually protected by patents and backed by scientific study from Sandia National laboratories (the most recognized DOE research labs addressing national security issues such as biological warfare etc), Hospital tests University and military tests ARMY etc for use in field hospitals. The other UV lights and electronic air filters out there are not effective since they don't release components into the air to kill germs, as this device does.It was easy to install, I had to put it in the return duct after the filter and before the heat/ac chamber due to space restrictions (which they say is ok but better after the heater/ac chamber) I have a 1300 sq ft ranch house and my mothers symptoms immediately improved the next day at Level 1 setting. I noticed on rainy days (when she gets really sick) she was better but still sick (i have an old house with leaky windows) so I turned it up half way to 3 and will see how that does. After a week I think i'll just turn it all of the way up.I have 1 (kinda smelly dog, my Moms) and 3 cats, I have not noticed no "ozone" type smells and the house air quality smells fresh and clean, and lingering odors seem to disappear pretty quickly.

Love this gadget. The air in my house is so fresh. It is killing mold on my air conditioner system. Recommended by my air conditioning servicer. With three pets it was a valuable addition to my air conditioning system. Has to be installed by professional air conditioner person though

Excellent packing! No damage. Instructions and docs very clear. Excellent system of gaskets to attach to AC duct. Double check the transformer wiring scheme. The wiring instructions from the internet are different from what was shown on transformer. Wire as shown on transformer! Need to have little more skill to install than average home owner.
