So I purchased this item 5 months ago and have shaved my two dogs twice since then, so 4 total doggie haircuts. I feel like that's enough for a good review. Considering the price of this unit and the overall ease of use, I would consider it a major win. I was paying $120 per dog for grooming. So I've already saved $360.The weight of the unit is lightweight and the cord is long enough to maneuver around the animal. The 3L size is also a major plus as it doesn't fill up as quickly as the smaller unit did. I did find the clipper blades work best if you brush the dog prior to clipping. If you have any matting, the blades will get caught up and will not cut the hair. For reference I'm grooming two 70lb sheepadoodles.The vacuum itself has no problem vacuuming the hair into the storage canister. I feel like if you had more sution, it would not assist the vacuuming process and would actually hinder the haircut. The vacuum noise itself is substantial but you have the option to decrease the vacuum by pressing the button. More powerful suction would also equate to more noise for the animal and may cause stress.The only durability issues I've experienced include one broken clipper blade. The spring clip that retains the black plastic clipper head broke. Be aware that the BM3 does not currently have a blade that's compatible that sold individually through the website. I was told by customer service that it is coming soon. Additionally, the BM3 comes in two configurations so please be aware when ordering a replacement head if you need one.I contacted oneisall customer support after my clipper blade broke and they promptly sent me out a new handle with clipper blade. Considering I reached out via email and they sent me out a new clipper blade within 2 weeks I would consider this five star customer service support.Overall I'm very pleased with the unit. It has worked well for my dogs and it is also worked well for my pocketbook. The ease of use, cost and excellent customer service have won me over. If I had to purchase this again I would do it and would purchase the largest three liter vacuum that they sell.

This is definitely worth the money. I have a great pyrenees who has severe anxiety with nail clippers/grinders, hair scissors and clippers. The brush attachment may I was not be able to get all the way through his second coat, but it does help get through the tangles. I was able to use the hair clipper attachment with no problems. I think because it sounds like a small vacuum he is familiar with the sound and doesn't hear the clippers. I was able to get 3 containers full of dog hair and I still have a lot more to groom. The vacuum has great suction and the cord wraps nicely under the vaccum. It does come with a cloth bag to hold all the accessories in, which is nice to keep everything together.

I wish I had purchased this years ago.. I have always had trouble grooming my dogs... it is such a big job! This makes the fur stand up so the clippers easily cut right through. WOW! Keeps the fur from ending up all over the place and makes the actual grooming job a fraction of the work as it was with traditional clippers. I love this thing.

We love the vacuum feature and started off, loving the clippers. We found out quickly that the clippers we’re not durable enough for the thick fur of our standard poodle. However, it works great for cutting human haircuts. My boys now trim up their hair without any bathroom mess regularly. This has become our favorite use for this clipper VAC combination.

Omg!!!! I may be quick to rate but I am so excited about this grooming kit!! Just arrived today and out of my 10 dogs (8 yorkiepoos!) I was able to zip up one dog in just about an hour with no nicks or trauma! Normally when they see me pull out the grooming tools they all scatter! Instead they all sat and watched!!! It literally does go through the thick doodle hair like a knife through butter!! And no battle wounds!!! Im so relieved to be able to clip my babies without trauma or making them bleeding! I only used the 1st vacuum setting too which was quieter and did as good as job. Only thing I would wish for is an extra blade but with 10 dogs I'll just have to order some!

This works great! Has 3 different power settings for suction to try and keep it as quiet as possible around the animals. Multiple attachments for either brushing your pets, trimming their nails or giving them a cut. Filter is easy to easy and unit is easy to dump. I also use it to shave my own head with much less mess and less tiny hairs getting stuck to me. Cord and hose quite long giving you plenty of working room.

I love this thing. I use it to groom our king Charles spaniel and it does a great job. I also use it to brush out my terriers. My cats hate it but I still attack them with it when the opportunity presents. Then I use it to clean my couches and chairs. It's awesome!

I absolutely love this product for my dogs. It cuts my shihtzus hair in no tim the nail grinder is fantastic and the desheder for my german shephered is a life saver. My dogs are not bothered by it and sit still . Wish I would of bought this a long time ago. Oh and no mess easy to clean up by dumping the cup.
