The build quality feels solid, and the connectors are secure and fit well without any wobbling. It’s been reliable in all my tests so far, and the connection is stable with no data interruptions.

The OBD port side is nice hard plastic, it slides in and out of the port like a champ. Some of the soft deformable plastic that some adapters are made of hangs up in the port, that's annoying.The 6 and 9 pin sides have nice collars that rotate freely and lock into their respective female sides well. The pins are placed well and have no misalignment issues, which I half expected with an adapter at this price point.Through electrical testing, I found there was no real measurable resistance through the adapter, something that would throw off scope readings when doing any sort of electrical signal testing via the ports. This is good news, since if your troubleshooting an issue you don't want to be led astray by the adapter you are trying to troubleshoot with. Flashing control units should not be an issue.My only wish is that the cable was a little longer. That's not even something to knock it down a star for, as it functions and works very well for something at this price point. I am really impressed with this adapter.
