Magnificent social history
I haven't enjoyed a picture book so much in ages.This book has thousands of images from the Great War period - some rather small, so you may need a magnifying glass.Magazine covers, advertisements, games, postcards - they combine to give the flavour of the age, and include some surprises.A first-rate compilation
