Great tongue scraper
I have been using it a few months now and I love it I have been rotating mine once a week, l also have a light sanitizer that I use daily to kill germs and the tongue scraper been awesome.

These are great
First, I hate that these create a lot of plastic trash. That said, if you have wisdom teeth, dental work, or anything that makes flossing difficult, consider Slate. It has vastly improved my gum health, sensitivity, and my teeth are super white.

Good quality, slightly overpriced, refills are highly overpriced.
Title says it all ! This unit should be priced closer to $70 than $90 , and each refill is about $1.50 each . So a 20 pack is $30 ! That price should be more like $.75 each …at MAX !!!The unit performs well , as advertised, and does a good strong job flossing . Unit appears to be well made and hopefully lasts several years for its $90 cost .

Refills Work Great!
While I usually buy on the company's website, it's nice to have the option to purchase them on Amazon if needed. The refills are easy to pop on an off, and I find that the floss lasts about a week before needed to be changed out. Annual cost is about $50 - $75 a year, depending on where you source your refills. Cheaper than one cavity filling, and a much cleaner mouth to boot. Worth it!

A Mixed Review for the Slate Flosser
First, my favorite thing about the Flosser. I love the feeling after I use the Flosser, particularly the gums which get a treatment you cannot otherwise deliver. My mom had gingivitis and several surgeries to treat it, so this feature is something I highly value.Next, the minuses. I still find that the floss gets stuck in between my teeth and is difficult to extract, despite getting advice from the support staff at Slate to gently allow the vibrations to slowly work the floss out. That helps but sometimes it is not enough. Also, I wear out and go through flosser heads after only a couple days. There are some tough gaps that shred the floss and I find it hard to use a head much longer than 2 days.As a net result, I have returned to my traditional manual flossing, although sometimes I use the Slate Flosser first and follow up with a manual floss. But this takes a lot of time.

Fine and needed, but expensive
I do like the flosser, but the price on these refills is quite high. When you break one trying to change them out, it is a little painful. That said, they do a heck of a good job on my teeth.

Ok
These don’t hold up as well as the original ones that came with the slate flosser. They fray much more quickly and begin to look/feel worn after a couple of uses.
