When I was a kid I used to a lot of candy. One of my favorite candies were these pink and white candies that had a black licorice inside. They came in a pink, black and white box. Don't remember the name of the candy but I remember how the box used to rattle in my pocket on the way home from the candy store. I wasn't thinking of these when I ordered them. I was just thinking oh yeah sugar, because I love sugar. Trying to cut back but sometimes I just have to have some. I was really surprised I tasted them, the first thing I thought of was those little pink and white candies. These aren't pink and white in fact they don't even look like they have any artificial color but they seem so similar. Really glad I stumbled across them. If you know and love the little pink and white candies I'm talking about, you'll like these!

These must be very old stock as the jelly babies are rock hard and inedible.

I had gotten a sample of something like this in a Universal Yums box a few years ago. These are so good.

As a someone who loves wine gums and eat them often, these wine gums came as a major disappointment. This is all due to two reasons that affected the quality of these wine gums.1) They have white sugar blooms on them. Basically each of these wine gums is covered in a thin white "film"-like coating. Some has more apparent white spots on them (see pics). This indicates to me is that these wine gums were not stored properly in the right temperature to keep them from getting too moist or "sweating". (1 star deduction)2) The texture is tough and more on the harder side. Wine gums are supposed to be a little chewy. But these are kinda on the harder and tougher side. I think this is also due to inproper storage before shipping. (1 star deduction)Becasue of the white sugar bloom on the surface, you taste the sugar sweetness immediately instead of gradually as you chew through the wine gum. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy them as much as I would normally with other wine gums.

These snacks are ok, they are somewhere between normal gummies and circus peanuts consistency-wise. The colors are different fruit flavors. These have more of a natural fruit flavor vs. the candy fruit flavors we're used to in the US. but I can't quite pick out all the flavors they were going for with each one.

My husband absolutely loved it! I wasn't sure how peppermint combined with licorice would taste, but I love both these flavors and thought I would give it a try. It tasted better than I expected, with a hit of peppermint at first followed by the black licorice flavor once you get to the center. This candy reminds me of Good and Plenty's but with peppermint instead of a plain white candy coating. These seem well made and were not stuck together. They tasted fresh and had a chewy texture. I would recommend these for anyone who enjoys black licorice since that is the dominate flavor.
