Sturdy piece of equipment.
What a great balance beam. It came already assembled which is nice and all you have to do is choose a level of height. That part takes just a second to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to change the height within seconds.I've got three little boys who have been playing on this for a couple weeks now on a daily basis and we've had no problems whatsoever. It has never tipped over and it still looks brand new despite having some pretty serious play happening.

Not level, beam is skewed.
Item arrived 4 days late and defective. The product looks nice and is well padded and the legs are sturdy and easy to setup. However, the beam itself is not level, straight, or square. The fabric also should be more taut. The wood core of it is hewed incorrectly causing a pretty significant tilt making it unsafe and inappropriate for use (see images - floor is level, beam is not). Given how this order has pretty much been a case of Murphy's law, we plan to return it and order from elsewhere.

We had to come back for seconds...on this first-rate beam!
Absolutely wonderful beam:Solid, vibrant, value-priced, nicely padded, materials (both surface and foundational) hold up very well, easily adjustable and with adequate variety. It feels equally stable at each selectable height.At just over $100 for an 8 foot beam of this level, I"m guessing this is an introductory price?! I had NO hesitation to order, other than choosing between the great color options! lolAnd I'd recommend this beam for any home gym, or gym that has size/age appropriate users.A solid and balanced 5 stars....AGAIN!
