Excellent book.Lots of interesting facts with really good suggested walks.Even if you don`t visit London the history is fascinating.I have visited London on several occasions, but there is never enough time to see everything, but at least areas can be located for future visits.

First, a warning - things change in London. Don't expect to find everything that you read about in this book - or, at least, don't believe the maps! We went to see a fascinating secret crypt, which is in the middle of the City: not "the only new building in the area" (as the book says) but actually in the middle of a whole load of new buildings that have sprung up since the book was written. But still. A fascinating book, a lot of information (though rarely in quite the detail you'd like), and well worth a read.

Bought as a gift for a friend who enjoys trips to London. It was very well received.

Great book. Lots of interesting info. Shame the blue lines on the maps make it nearly impossible to read the street names. Won't stop me using it though.
