Boats with an Open Mind: Seventy-Five Unconventional Designs and Concepts (INTERNATIONAL MARINE-RMP)

Interesting fireside reading but limited real-world appeal
Bolger has put together a book which covers a range of boats from the breakdown punt to the large ocean-going cruiser. To be clear, the book does not contain full construction plans for the 75 boats and you will not be able to build a boat using this book alone.Instead, the book is best viewed as a sort of "study-plan package" which, by showing some very unconventional - and in some cases untested - designs will raise your interest enough to make you want to order the full construction plans. In this way, it's very similar to the "other" well known series of boat plan books. However, personally, I found the majority of the designs a bit too unconventional and came away wanting something a bit more detailed.
