Looks great! Very good quality!
This is the 3rd Simplihome piece that I have purchased. I have purchased many IKEA items and this is definitely better quality. If you can put together Ikea or Lego sets, this is no different to assemble. I greatly appreciate the extra hardware! I have experienced defective hardware and do not appreciate a trip to the hardware store mid assembly. That said, I am a grandmother and I assembled this by myself. The instructions are drawings but they clearly label each piece and the hardware, are individually bagged and labeled.

It looks fantastic but they cut some corners
I would really love to give this five stars but the manufacturer cut a few corners in some areas. First is the cam locks, they are very weak and tightening them will cause the metal to rip. Luckily they included extra so that you can try again. I am not confident that these will last long term with the drawers opening and closing but I'm sure they can be glued when they break. Second, they use cheap and thin ikea-like drawer bottoms that I'm sure won't last. There are fasteners that you can get once they start to sag but for a piece of furniture this nice and expensive, I feel like they are cheating their customers out of a long lasting piece just to save a few dollars. I'm sure that reviews like this will cost them more than proper drawer bottoms would have, hopefully they take this to heart for future designs. With that said, much of the other stuff is high quality and well designed, nice hardwood, nice finish, sturdy hinges, and sturdy screws. It also looks fantastic and the wood that is showing is nice and high quality. It is just too bad about those drawer bottoms though. They are weight bearing and critical to the longevity of this piece of furniture.

Very sturdy, solid wood.
The media could not be loaded. After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase. I have been eyeing this buffet table for over two years and kept putting it off. The price increased for a bit so I waited even longer before pulling the trigger. I am very glad I did! I know some folks got very faulty product when ordering this but I can confirm that this has been the best investment I’ve made this year. The wood is gorgeous and very solid. The grain is rich and passes the vibe check. The pieces are constructed of pieces of wood pressed together so don’t expects a whole solid panel per door, drawer and table top. But I think it gives it a lot of character. The drawers do have a soft click mechanism so they’re not easy to pull open, which I like since I have kids. The cabinet doors also have a soft click mechanism so you do have to tug slightly to open the doors. There are also magnetic parts that keep them closed. It’s perfect for keeping our party dishes and glasses, paperwork and other seasonal household items. It wasn’t the easiest to put together but it was not the worst. We find it to be very sturdy and practical while giving the dining room some character. The one thing I wish was different were the legs. I spray painted them in a rustic gold to give a warmer tone to the wood and it looks phenomenal. It also matches our reclaimed mango wood dining table from Arhaus.

Looks great ... easy to assemble ... up to a point
This piece is very sturdy and well made. We were happy with it coming out of the box. Assembly took about 2 hours but it was going well. However, at the very end, the hinges for the doors did not have pilot holes in the unit. It made lining the doors up with the drawers and the edges virtually impossible. I dont know if this happens to everyone or it was just us but what started out to be a great purchase ended as a complete frustration.

AWESOME PIECE/PACKAGING
The cabinet came in very well packed, box was not dented, instructions simple and easy. Love this piece. Highly recommend this company.

Bring Your Router and Chisel...
In a day of particle board furniture, it's nice to get something at this price point that is actually made of wood--and I like the renewable nature of Acacia wood. The piece looks good and is functional, and has the potential to be a 4 or 5 star item. So, where did it all go wrong?Start with the first one I purchased. The sections that hold the middle draws go into slots that are in the top and bottom. The outside dimension of the drawer holders is 20"; the slots are 19 7/8... What's 1/8? Well, when you force it in there, the draw holders are bowed, and the middle drawers are impossibly tight. Earlier reviewers who mentioned tight drawers? Guessing this was their problem. The drawers were really not useable. The photo above shows the problem. Additionally, the top wasn't stained completely on the edges.I reached out to Simplihome. At first I did have contact with someone. I send a bunch of photos and follow-up information. I then received 1) automated emails asking me to respond, 2) an email telling me they were having system problems and weren't getting emails, 3), radio silence... I eventually gave up and contacted Amazon. They sent out a second one and told me to box that one up (no small feat, but that's how it goes buying online).Sure enough, the second one had the same problem, except slightly worse. I couldn't even install the top. I'm guessing the entire batch was manufactured incorrectly. I reached out the customer support at Simplihome again. This time, I reached someone via phone, who then proceeded to pretend to have a bad connection and then I'm pretty sure just hung up on me when he realized it was a problem he didn't want to deal with today. I called back and it went to voicemail... Given my experience with the first one, I just contacted Amazon again directly. The only good thing about this purchase was that I did it through Amazon, who were awesome as always. We reached a suitable resolution, and with some woodworking skills and power tools I was able to fix the piece, since I figured out after putting the first on together what needed to be fixed. In short, a stile that is glued/screwed on needed to be carefully removed, and 1/8" inch of wood removed from it, and then reinstalled. If you buy one of these close to the time of this review, you will likely get a bad one. I'd recommend, strongly, not to buy this unless you're really for some woodworking.
