Didn’t know this place existed until I encountered this book! The author provides great tips on the best places to eat and drink, which island to explore, and things to do aside from enjoying the beach:) I have also learned from this book how Santa Barbara is rich in culture and activities, there’s so much to do in this place. So excited to visit!

An excellent guide that explores the county from stem to stern. In particular I liked the portions of the book that took the reader outside of Santa Barbara – to the charming towns of Los Olivos, Lompoc, Solvang, etc. And inside Santa Barbara or course the iconic courthouse – the most beautiful public building I have come across in our country. In addition there were sample itineraries, hotel recommendations, links to other resources, restaurant recommendations and on and on. A very complete guide to the county.
