Both wife and I have trouble sleeping for various geriatric reasons. So many choices for Valerian, but I chose this because of its organic promise. We are both falling asleep pretty quickly now. It won’t necessarily keep us asleep all night, but it has stopped the tossing and turning at the beginning of the night. I have ordered our second bottle. I also appreciate that the recommended dose is one capsule while several other brands recommend two.

This is very helpful to me and some my girlfriends I know using. I take one in the morning, helping e deal with stress all day long and I sleep well. Some my girlfriend take 2 in about 1 hours before going to sleep, some takes 2 every morning.

I bought this end of June to help me fall asleep faster, I took it around 8:30pm thinking by 9:30pm I'll be asleep. I couldn't tell how I felt the next morning, since I woke up once during the night. I wasn't expecting to see results right away, I only took one capsule when I got it in the mail, then took one capsule this morning, a week later. It gave me severe headaches and it upset my stomach, probably because of the high dose, not sure. I took Valerian capsules a very long time ago and I was fine, don't remember the dose and where I got them from.

this Valerian Road is not working at all ;I finish my another bottle of valerian root from another company and I decide to try this and there is no smell and no effect, don't buy this, waste of money

Melatonin gives me a headache and stays on my system too long. This was a much better solution for me. Make sure you have lots of water because they do not smell great.

What do you have to lose by trying it? The product is reasonably priced. I tried it, but it was not as effective, for me, as two 500 mg capsules from a well known health product brand. We are individuals – – our bodies are different – – our tolerances to medicine and herbs vary widely. I gave the remainder of this product to a neighbor, and she swears by it. A bottle from the well-known health product brand cost me almost US$27. If this brand works for you, you are saving a lot of money!
