Really works well but sprayer is not good .. Pump moves while trying to spray and will get it on my hands. Light spray does not aim well and can end up inhaling it causing coughing. BUT product does work against chewing dog. Might want to put in better spray container at home.

I’m returning this. We lightly sprayed our couch and the room instantly filled up with a strong smell that made us start coughing. I have lung issues and was instantly in respiratory distress and had to remove all our pets and our parrot from the house and open the windows until the smell dissipated. I love Eqyss’ products but this one needs a better warning.

This product really works. The first thing to keep in mind is it is a pepper-based spray. In hindsight, some kind of sponge applicator tip like shoe polish has I would much prefer over a spray bottle. I normally unscrew the cap and put it on a paper towel and wipe it on what I don’t want the dogs to chew. Spraying it just seems to aerosolize enough of it that it makes me sneeze and bothers the dogs noses as well. Wipe it on what you want the dogs to leave alone and they leave it alone! Power cords, baseboards, chair legs, shoe laces, couches, etc. it will save your sanity!

Bought this product as a last resort to prevent a Shetland Sheepdog puppy from chewing on the carpet in our fairly new home. We had already tried the sour apple spray with zero success. I think I actually heard the puppy laugh at that product - we would actually lick it. Yeah. No bueno.Bought this stuff thinking it would be solution to all of our problems. Yeah. No bueno again. First of all, as some of the others have pointed out make absolutely certain that you have some good ventilation if you use this stuff. If you have asthma or other breathing issues, consider yourself warned. Once this stuff aerosolizes your eyes and nasal passages will not be thanking you. This stuff will make your life miserable if you breathe any of it. While it did keep the dog away from his favorite chew spots temporarily, once it dried, he was right back at it like I had never saturated the area. I finally gave up on using this product and had to monitor the dog like a hawk if he was loose.Bottom line. I cannot recommend this product.

I read the reviews for this product before purchase and saw that a majority of them mention a similar reaction to being pepper sprayed. In anticipation of this I purchased a sponge head dish want and just poured the product on the sponge and swabbed it around the edges of our pups kennel. The fumes didn't really bother me even inside the house. I did try applying it (outside) by using the sprayer that is attached. If the wind changed directions it definitely became hard to deal with and caused me to sneeze and start having trouble breathing. HOwever, none of either of these applications will not deter our puppy. She is determined to chew her way straight thru the adorable wooden crate we got her.

This works really well... but my husband and I immediately started coughing and now have sore throats. Would not recommend.

Definitely worked to stop our Great Pyrenees from chewing on some rug corners and the corner of a coffee table.However, it is VERY strong, and we found ourselves having to use a mask over our mouth when spraying it and then immediately leaving the vicinity for a while, otherwise everyone started coughing & throat burning. We usually sprayed it on our way out the door. After about 4 times of use, our dog stopped chewing and we only do it rarely now as a reminder to him.

Literally takes the breath out of your lungs. I couldn't breath and almost had an asthma attack after spraying. Thankfully my dog wasn't near it. Do NOT BUY!

Do not and I mean DO NOT spray inside

This item is toxic. Was inhaled by an adult while spraying and lead to severe vomiting, headache and sore throat and eyes.Should be pulled and not sold.
