CasioWS-B1000 Series | Men's Digital Watch

So far an awesome watch. Steps seem accurate enough, although it seems to register a bit more than I'm keeping track of. So shoot for a few hundred over your goal! Sync on Android happens automatically 4 times a day without having to even open the app (if it's setup correctly to allow background usage / no sleep / ect.). The auto sync on a watch like this is really great, I was initially worried since it's not a traditional smart watch it would be a pain to manage bluetooth with battery ect.The phone app isn't very detailed as it's just an easy way to store and check step data (there are minor health details like kcal burned ect.), but thats all I was shopping for, a nice watch I don't have to recharge every few days that keeps track of steps without having to worry about it.

Great watch. Tells time, pairs with the wifi/phone automatically to keep accurate time, counts my steps accurately, 2-year battery. I don't need all the whistles and bells that a regular "smartwatch" has, although this one has an alarm and countdown timer (which I don't use). My only gripe is the instruction manual is confusing but there is an online version that's a little easier to understand. The watch itself is great

good looking 'tank' style casio step tracker (length greater than width). The model I purchased , WS-B1000-1AV, has a black body with a metallic looking dark gray bezel, which is a good combo. Has a clear positive display (generally easier to read compared to negative displays). Nice amber color backlight. Not solar but has a 2 year battery. Has blue tooth for auto time correction. If configured, it can connect automatically 4 times a day with the 'Casio Watches' app on your phone to sync. These quartz watches are pretty accurate but can drift +/- 15 seconds per month, compared to an atomic clock or phone network. Light weight comfortable watch (doesn't slip around on 6.25 inch wrist). Long band. Con: compared to other cheaper casio step tracker watches like WS2100H, WS2000H, this step tracker does not allow you to click through the step counts of the last 8 days. You need to synch with the phone app and see the history there. This can be inconvenient , if you want to check the final count for the day, but it is past 12am at night and the step counter has already reset to 0. Also the circular graphic display on top right corner , to track step count progress towards daily goal, isn't too useful to me (watch would look cleaner without it). Overall a nice casio step tracker.

I got it yesterday. It's going back to Amazon today. I am almost prepared to believe it's a counterfeit.First of all, the included instruction manual is written in nearly microscopic print, so I was obliged to download the "User's Guide" and "Operation Guide" (why both?) and print them out. I finally managed to get through the tedious task of setting the time and date. Hooray. But Bluetooth connection - usually a straightforward process - proved to be impossible. I hunted for the watch's Bluetooth connection with two different phones. No luck. And yes, I installed the Casio Watches app on my phone. It was worse than useless. It literally did nothing. I went back through the User's Guide and Operations Guide and was surprised to find that the word "Bluetooth" did not appear even once. Kind of a curious omission, wouldn't you say?I give it one star because it has kept the correct time for several hours.

I was expecting more. I purchased 8 casio watches in this orderfor christmas gifts.I could have spent half the price on a cheaper Casio with similar functions.Watch is well built and looks good, but not at 2x the price.

Arrived nicely packed and in OEM new condition. Easy setup via the Casio App. Unique in that it's a Casio square turned sideways ... liked it so much, I purchased the Black model, as well as the White model (White from Casio as Amazon didn't have it). Functionality wise, has all the functions you need for a nice daily wearing watch and the convenience of BlueTooth to keep your watch in perfect time. The Bluetooth setup via the Casio App could not be easier ... highly recommended.

I've been using this watch for almost a week. Here are my impressions:- Good main display: able to see time and date or time and steps.- By pressing the center button we can change between dates and steps in the display. I like that because it's the main reason I bought this watch for, to track my steps.- Amber light is also good.- The aesthetics are not the best in my opinion, but if you like that 90s vibe it might work well.- Timer only can be set up to 60 minutes. I rarely use it for more than half and hour but I would have liked to have the chance to set it up for more time, as in a G-Shock, for example.- App works good, very intuitive and you can set everything from it if you are not used to set the watch with its buttons. Also has "find your phone" feature to locate the phone from the watch.- Step Tracker works good, you can find videos in YT about the precission and it looks like Casio has improve this from previous modules.For 55 bucks, a step tracker with a two year battery and many other features is fantastic. It has become my beater watch and I'm very happy with it.
