Exceptional quality from Monstrum as always! I never had a single issue with their products, always excellent, and this mount did not disappoint me either. The cantilever design with 2-inch offset is aimed to provide you with options to shift the scope out front or back, which is especially important if your top Picatinny rail is too short and does not have much space for adjusting scope position in accordance with your eye position. The mount puts the center of a rifle scope tube at a height of 1.62 inches (41.15 mm) from the base, which is perfect for mid-to-long-range scopes that have a large objective and long eye relief. The build quality is top notch, it's on par if not better than Vortex products' quality in my opinion and all at a fraction of the cost! It's also one of the lightest single-piece scope mounts I've seen so far, weighing only 149 grams, but it looks and feels rock-solid. I really like how they did all the cutouts in the base to lower the overall weight as much as possible without compromising the integrity of the mount. It also has four rail screws and four recoil stops that guarantee that it will hold zero with practically any caliber rifle. I didn't have any alignment issues with the rings, and there's no need to lap them due to precision machining and single-piece monolithic design, but I'd still expect that some people, being very particular about the scope fit, are still going to lap them a bit. The only feature that I'm missing in the scope mount setup is a quick release for easier optics interchange. But other than that, this is an ultimately rigid and stable scope platform, and for the cost you can't go wrong. Highly recommended, 5 stars!Pro-tip: Just make sure not to over-tighten the scope rings' screws when setting up your scope, and always use a torque limiting screwdriver with torque set below 25 in-lb. I personally prefer 20 in-lb and it always holds up just fine.

This mount does exactly what it should. The product feels very solid overall, even down to the hardware, and nicely fits onto a standard picatinny rail. For now, the mount will be used on an airsoft rifle, but could definitely be used for an actual rifle build.Pros: It holds the scope tightly, and there is no rattle whatsoever. At 3.7 ounces it is fairly lightweight and it has cutouts in the side to reduce the overall weight. The molding include the Monstrum logo on the top of both rings and there are 4 bolts per ring.Cons: The rail clamps don't extend very far and only cover 2, 1" spans. This is great if you have a short picatinny rail, but my preference is to have these go full length. Monstrum make great, inexpensive items, and it is my favorite brand of budget scope accessories.

This scope mount fit perfectly on my scope. I got the 25mm clamp setup. The aluminum build is strong and rigid. It has everything you need to make installation a breeze. It's a low-profile setup and looks great when mounted. It's a great cantilever scope mount for the price!

Considering scope mounts can run in the 100"s of dollars, this mount will fit the bill for beginners and budget minded shooters. This mount is for any optics with a 1" diameter tube. It has great retention on a picatinny rail but is not a quick mount. It is a little heavy for its size, the reason for the 4-star rating, but not a good enough reason to not consider this mount. Find a reasonably priced scope, get this mount, place them on your plinking gun and go to the range for some fun. Maybe even consider an LPVO scope "Low Power Variable Optics" to step your game up a bit.

This product is well made, fits my Sig Sauer scope well, and seems to be sturdy enough to hold a zero. It looks very clean and I really like the design. I haven’t had the chance to shoot my gun yet, so I can’t speak to how well it holds a zero and if there’s any wobble or shake, but from its appearance (and my prior experience with Monstrum products) I’m not at all worried about it.Great product for a fair price!

Got this to mount a Monstrum 3-9 x 32 Tactical Scope on a S&W 15-22. 300 rounds after zeroing and still holding zero. Not sure how this would do on a NATO 556 or larger. I'm using Vortex scope and rings on my NATO 556 and 350 Legend. My son was using Monstrum rings and scope on his 350 Legend and it slipped. Different rings and scope as this. Hopefully someone will post a review using larger caliber.

The underside of this scope mount has 4 bars that sit in the picatinny rail slots, which helps it from rocking back and forth when shooting. Came with the allen keys I needed to mount my scope as well as tighten to the rail. The scope seems to hold zero just fine, but I've only tested with moderate loads on a 556. If you're using some huge round or have an expensive upper, you should get an matching grade of optic and mount. This is just fine for my poverty pony, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it on a mid-range rifle too.
