LeashLocket Retractable Lead, Small, Pink

This is a brilliant product but the spring breaks and then no longer retracts the lead. I did send one back and the returns policies for Amazon and process is brilliant. It is the first time have returned anything. I would like to give Amazon 5 stars for the returns process but sadly the product is not robust enough and the second one lasted just a few weeks before the spring gave way. Strange really as my dog does not even pull on the lead, it just does not seem to tolerate full extension.I did have high hopes for this product as it is small enough for me to clip onto my belt keeping me hands free for my other two dogs and I cannot find an alternative.In conclusion, returns policy excellent, product principle brilliant but poorly bulit.

oooops, had another brand before that was 'lighter' and the magnets 100% more effective this is bulky and one has to physically 'snap' the magnet onto the collar rather than it retracting and clipping on automatically when you let go, also the 'handle' then is left dangling and as the weight of the retractor unit is heavy it goes to the front of the collar and the dog can catch its foot in the hand grip. It is a SUPER idea in concept...I have put the stud on the top of a harness and it 'works' but the magnet does need to be stronger...sorry, I hate to be negative, but my last one was so fantastic I am just a bit dissapointed.

Great idea, but poor design and quality.My dog weighs 35 kgs, so well below the limit of 90 lbs or 41 kgs. The tape itself is strong and maybe the product can really hold 200 lbs in static mode, but a young dog is anything but static.I bought 2 pcs and the first one broke after 10 minutes. A couple of stronger pulls from the dog and that was it - the leash didn't retract any more. Being an engineer, I decided to look inside to find the cause and hoping to repair it. I found that the inside spring had been fitted to a plastic central shaft with a flimsy plastic detail. You don't need much force to break it and once broken, it's beyond repair. With a metal shaft and fitting the idea could actually work, but that would be somewhat more expensive to manufacture.So I tried to be extra careful with the second leash, but it also broke the same way after a couple of walks. It's not possible to be more careful - a dog is not a dummy and if it never pulled trying to break free, you wouldn need a leash at all.My conclusions:- Shame on the people who designed, tested and marketed this product!- If you want to buy the product, reduce the allowed dog weight by a factor of 2 at the very least.

Great idea, only problem is that the actual leash length is a bit too short.

Fantastic the right size. And delivered quickly.

Brocken with in 3 days of having it had to get new one

Worked well but a bit on the thin side- my puppy chewed through this after a couple of short walks.
