Ok, so I really like this product, it has a great hold, without looking slick. I was so chuffed with it, that I packed it in my carry-on for a trip overseas last week.I went through the new machines at heathrow & even though the staff ran it through twice, for some reason the machines kept flagging this item & this one alone as being an unknown liquid.The staff literally had no idea what was going on & were really apologetic (I told them I had just received it as an item & I was bl**dy brilliant), they had to confiscate it in the end.Nothing to do with the volume - although for any airport that doesn’t have the new scanners - it’s too big at 150ml.. they literally couldn’t figure out why the machine was flagging this.So, it’s really really good - but as it got confiscated off me as an unknown liquid - I have to ask the vendors to maybe update the product ingredients. The staff were truly awesome & were checking the ingredients list & couldn’t flag anything listed. Might have been the machines ( they said they were still recalibrating them), might be the ingredients list missing something small that the scanners picked up.. Who knows.Great product to use at home… maybe not for packing on a trip. I ordered another one on my own dime as soon as I got through security & was waiting for my flight. Good product.

As good as more expensive brands. Good price and you get LOADS, one tub has lasted me months & months. Starts off a bit wet in your hair, but dries down in a few minutes and is matte. Smells great & gives a good hold. You can mess with your hair throughout the day and there’s not sticky residue. Less is definitely more too. Will definitely buy again!

The media could not be loaded. Substance is red, clear, like a candle wax, texture- stiff, slippery (think bees wax or lip balm). It isn't the weak aqua, the weak one is best on long hair, this one is more for strong hold, thus why it is harder to dig in, on short hair it holds hair up, on long hair not so much. It added shine at first, but then touching hair up a bit over short time it turned to matte.Putting too much makes the hair feel gross like too much product in the hair feeling. I didn't like this one for my hair type, I saw aqua and just though it be strong hold but with the gel like aqua substance. This is the aqua wax. It does smell like a soapy aftershave, but finding the right amount to use is difficult with this as even a little made the hair texturize and feel a bit on the gross side when touching. However this does make the hair feel thicker, or rather it did mine.Application technique - Take required amount from jar and place in palm of hand, rub until smoothed out (closer to a film), usually 15-30 seconds, pat through damp or dry hair (depending on desired result) on dry hair it holds better, on damp hair I found it easier to style. Using finger tips to pull through areas for desired clumping and directional clumps. Clump means to form hair together making it look thicker at the area.I think if I had short hair I would rate this 4/5 I still would take a star off because even using a little seems to make theh air feel like it's got product in, and dries it up, but this could be a silver lining if you have too oily or shiny hair this would dry it up and make it look matte.If you don't play around with the hair too much, the wax will make it look shiny for a while. EG/ I put it on, it looks shiny, I play around with the hair when it dries up, and that shine goes away, and becomes matte with very little to no shine.I'd personally suggest using this by design, to texture a small part of hair to get desired results of a particular style. I never stick with one product for hair, I always use 2 sometimes 3 different types of wax/gel to get my desired hair style.

I've been really impressed with this Zenix hair styling wax.I've been using this wax for a little over a week so far & have noticed it makes my hair looks so much better compared to when using the current brand of styling wax i have here.It doesn't have as much hold strength as my current wax but the overall look when using this Zenix wax compared to the other gives you a much more natural look & finish to your hair.Its has a dry matte finish which i really liked but as an additional bonus where i am unfortunately starting to thin out a little on top this Zenix wax helps makes my hair looks a little thicker & fuller which helps mask the thinning.I think its just where my other wax sticks all the hair together so you can see through the gaps easier.I thought the product had a really nice smell to it, plus it doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy after use & washes straight off with water.I do find i'm using a tiny bit more product with this one over my last wax but the end result with this Zenix styling wax is well worth it.Overall i've been really happy with styling wax from Zenix & it's definitely something i would pick up again in the future.
