Excellent dog food!
I bought this for my 14 year-old toy poodle. It is excellent food in every way. Yes, it's a bit expensive - but the ingredients are stellar. Do NOT scrimp on dog food - it will cost you later in tears and vet bills! Unfortunately, I had to cancel my subscription to this stew. My dog recently had more teeth pulled which demolished her ability to chew. Even though this is wet food - the stew chunks were now too firm for her to chew. Koha has several flavors in the form of stews and pates. I will be moving my dog to one of the pates that will be easier for her to eat.

Won over my notoriously picky eater!
My dogs loved this wet food. It comes out easily and is perfect to eat as is or on kibble. The real meat chunks mixed with the thick sauce is always a hit, and for me, I initially chose this product due to the food being grain free, a product of North America, and minimal ingredient focused. The cans came in good condition with little to no denting, and for a 12 pack of 12.7oz cans, I think it's a good deal for the quality you receive; in the same range as similar health-focused well known canned dog food brands. I think it's really cool just how many flavors they have, and now that I know of KOHA and better read on their dedication to quality, I'm excited to have one of my especially picky dogs try out their other flavors.

Good Quality Dog Food
My Dogs are very picky eaters and torn their noses up to everything! Two out of my three pups like this food. It is a bit heavy on the heavy and would do well mixing with dry food. It has clean ingredients which is what I look for when choosing a food for my pups. The price is a bit steep but it's worth it when feeding your pups quality food. It also has small veggies in it as well. One can feeds all three of my dachshunds, it's a big can of food!

Scrumptious
So I got this to give it a try as a topper for my dogs dinner. They devoured it. Even my Mr picky eater. Smells good and is great value for what you get.

Made in Canada
I like that this is a product of Canada. I'm pretty particular and will only let my fur babies eat feed from certain countries with excellent reputations. The Porcine plasma ingredient was unfamiliar to me so I had to research it. For others who don't know, it's pork blood plasma. This helps create a high-protein dog food. It sounds kind of gross to me but I thought about it for a minute and realized it's cooked during the canning process so it should be fine for my fur babies. One of my fur babies is extremely picky and the vet a long time ago gave me a recipe that the dogs love, even the picky one. but just like with the family, there are a couple of times a week that I don't want to cook and we have takeout. So I've been looking for something in an easy-to-serve canned dog food the dogs would like for those occasions. Our picky girl took one look at the dreaded can from afar and just laid down. "no thanks, I'll just starve". The others dug right in. I brought the pet dish over to our self-proclaimed princess and had her smell it. I had already smelled it and it smells different than other canned foods we've tried. So with a little encouragement, she finally tried it and after trying it she ate the whole bowl. Then snuck over to our geriatric dog's bowl to steal some more. Our older dog tolerated the food fine, which is not always the case. She had NO upset tummy, throwing up. So this is a big win. I have something they like & I feel good about when I don't want to cook.

Horrible on his stomach
Since I started him on this his poops have been watery and his butt nearly inflamed! Don’t get how people stick to gravy foods for their dogs but this seems to go worse than any other gravy I got him

My dog likes it, ingredients seem good
This food seems like a pretty decent option. My elderly dog needs canned food, and I try to find good options that won't upset his tummy and have good ingredients. This seems like a pretty good food, the ingredients seem like they're high quality, and it doesn't seem to have fillers. My dog likes this food, and is happy to eat it. It is a stew, so as one would expect it has some gravy in it. I like this to mix in with his kibble to help soften it up for him. It hasn't upset his tummy, and it is a good option to have in addition to his pate style canned foods. I'm pretty particular about what I think is acceptable to feed my dog, and I think that this food is high enough quality that it meets that standard.

My three big dogs approve
I got the Chicken and Lamb as I try to vary protein as often as possible for my dogs while also adding additional fresh, unprocessed greens and vegetables for health. I use various brands of top-quality pouched/canned dog foods as toppers, and this is a great new addition made with minimal ingredients without fillers. The food smells great to me, and none of my dogs had any stomach upset after several days of trial. The only issue I have with this food is that it’s pretty heavy with gravy, as you can see in my photo, while it offers only 326 kcal/can. My other super-premium brands are way over 400 kcal near 500 kcal/can with heavier protein, which means I could feed much less compared to this product. Even compared to this brand’s other limited ingredient Entrée for Dogs made with 90% protein with feeding instructions of only 3/4 - 1 can per 15 lbs, this “Slow Cooked Stew” product requires 1 - 1 1/2 cans per 15 lbs of body weight per day, making this costlier food per kcal. I won’t dock a star for the cost issue alone, but this may be of concern for people wanting to use it as a standalone meal for larger dogs where the daily feeding cost becomes exponential.
