Topically applied lipolytic serum - placeholder review
This is a placeholder review only for Slimfit Booster Serum l 3-Nano Lipolytic Serum for Puffy Face, Double-Chin with Deoxycholate, Hyaluronic acid, Collagen l Sculpting & Contouring Korean Skin Care. The product page states that it will take a minimum of 4 weeks to begin to see results, and 8 weeks to see maximum benefit from the product. My plan is to use it once per day and produce updates on results (if any) at the one and two month intervals. What this is and what it purports to do: The serum uses 3-nano deoxycholate with Deoxycholate which when applied topically passes through the skin layers to reach subcutaneous fat layers of targeted areas to facilitate metabolically breaking down and flushing the fat cells and excess water away. The serum also contains hyaluronic acid and collagen which then serve to help replenish lost volume, tighten, and sculpt the skin to maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This is intended to work on small targeted areas such as double chins, flabby arms, or love handles, but it will not replace diet or excercise for weight loss.Initial subjective observations: Made in South Korea, this is an aroma free clear serum that comes in a clear pump top bottle. There are no English language instructions on the outer box or the bottle, and no instruction pamphlet or ingredient list is provided. Users must refer to this product page for information. I have not experienced any detrimental reaction after applying the serum - no burning sensation, no irritation, and no rash noted. This is an interesting product and I'm curious to see whether it produces any notable results. See you back here around June 9th with my first update.

Good hydration, no irritation
Lightweight and easily absorbed. This serum is on the runnier side and unscented. I don’t have a lot of puffiness in my face but I did like how fast it absorbs and that it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. No irritation or shine. You get a decent amount of product and you only need to use a small amount since it isn’t thick.

Reduces puffiness
I ordered Slimfit Booster Serum and tried it out right away. Although I haven't used it for the full four weeks recommended to see results, I want to share what I know about this product so far.First, I was pleased to find that it is unscented, which is a plus for me since I prefer unscented skin care and hair products. I have sensitive skin, and this serum did not irritate me at all. The texture is lighter than the serums I’m used to; it is fairly thin and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue. This serum is supposed to reduce puffiness, and I’ve noticed it seems to be effective in that regard. I store it in my beauty fridge and apply it as the first step in my skincare routine. After applying the serum, I just follow the rest of my beauty regimen, and it fits in perfectly.

Interesting concept but mixed feeling
I am a big fan of Korean skincare products, and one of the biggest strength of Korean products is their innovative and cutting edge ingredients. This product has very interesting concept - formulation with deoxycholate, so I just bought and gave it a try. Did it change the siluette my double chin - not really, but still it's really interesting product if you don't expect something unattainable.Ingredients: Except only one ingredient - sodium deoxycholate, all other ingredients are pretty much common K-beauty ingredient of serum or toner. It contains hyaluronic acid and collagen so good for hydration, and made with 1,2 hexanediol so it's actually pretty clean in terms of preservative. So ingredient-wise, this product is pretty clean.Science :But to take an effect on lipolysis, the sodium deoxycholate should penetrate into the fat layer. As some people probably know, deoxycholate is active ingredient of Keybella, which is used for lipolysis on under chin area in medispa. KeyBella is a medical injectable so it is injected directly to the fat layer but skincare product is a little different. Even if they are nano-particleized, it's almost impossible to penetrate to the subcutaneous fat layer. So I think they are promising something that is not really possible in skincare product. (also should not be expected as well.)Texture: Yet, I still believe this is a kind of interesting serum because it hydrated my skin pretty well and maybe psychological, I feel my tummy look firmer. (actually I am 100% sure it's psychological.) So if you really want to try out, I won't stop you but scientifically it does not make much sense. So I have very mixed feeling.

Runny like water
I like the idea of a product working on my neck and chin without expensive procedures. It is too early to know if this will work, as it takes 8 weeks for results. It is a pretty expensive bottle so hopefully it does. Most of the box and label are in Korean so I am not sure when I am supposed to use the serum or if there are in specific instructions. The serum is runny like water. It comes in a pump bottle. I would say the right amount is dispensed. It is not excess which I was worried about since it is so runny. There is no scent to the serum. It was easy to rub the serum into my skin and is absorbed right away. I do believe my skin is softer after applying the serum.
