R is for Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone Alphabet series Book 18)

This book surprised many readers as it was different in plot from the usual novels. Kinsey much more involved in plot rather than following other protagonists. Shows versatility of author as we move father into this series that she can write in a way that develops her main character and is certainly not repetitive. Look forward to the rest of the series.

Very enjoyable Kinsey Millhone yarn by this excellent crime writer who was so much more than a 'crime' writer: rest in peace, Sue Grafton.

It ricochets all over the place. A racy plot, punchy dialogue and great characterisation. I recommend this for all fans of crime fiction who like a different kind of heroine - Kinsey Millhone.

Read several of the series now. Not got too predicable as yet. A good read with a bit of pace.

I am running out of things to say. I have enjoyed all of the books A to V. I am not particularly interested in descriptions of journeys, landscapes, houses etc., but the stories are rattling good tales. I like the device of the quick ending and the ensuing epilogue.

Excellent story, Sue Grafton books are a great read

Hace muchos años comencé el abecedario del crimen de Sue Grafton pero hace poco me volví a reencontrar con el. Sin duda una de las sagas que más me gustan del género. Este título no decepcionó mis expectativas.

Kinsey millhone novels are always a good read. Not too deep but always keeps you intrigued.

Hatte mich sehr auf den nächsten Fall von Privatdetektivin Kinsey gefreut. Und darauf, wie sich ihre eigene schwierige Familiengeschichte weiterentwickelt. Der Roman war aber eher enttäuschend. Krimi kann man kaum sagen, weil kein einziger Mord stattfindet. Und Kinseys Familiengeschichte, die in den vergangenen zwei, drei Romanen von Sue Grafton thematisiert wurde, tauchte hier nun plötzlich gar nicht mehr auf. Ich hoffe, beim Buchstaben S wird alles besser! Gebe diesem Roman hier nur 3 Sterne.
