This is a great company and I have 2 products of theirs that I trust to be safe and sustainably sourced. The bottle had all of the expected safety seals. The pills were easy to take and left no aftertaste. These are a very simple supplement containing only the advertised nutrient (lycopene). They also come in a clear capsule which is nice since it is free of any unnecessary dyes, as well as allowing me to see what is inside the capsuleThese capsules are also a smaller size and should be easy to swallow for most people.Overall I will absolutely be incorporating this into my regiment. When I first looked at the label, I was confused. It says it contains "Lycopene 5%" with 50 mg per capsule. When I research this, I found that "Lycopene 5% DC/AF" contains finely dispersed Lycopene in a matrix of modified starch and corn oil. Dl-alpha-tocopherol is added as an antioxidant. The coating contains white particles of corn starch which may be visible in the product. Lycopene 5% DC/AF is used for single and multivitamin tablets or capsules. These do have that white coating.There is currently no recommended daily intake for lycopene. However, from the current studies, intakes between 8–21 mg per day appear to be most beneficial. That can vary according to why you are taking a supplement. I am taking it due to an increased PSA reading. Lycopene has been shown to reduce the risk of prostate cancer. I am also taking tomato sauce daily because the lycopene in cooked tomatoes appears to be the most effective. It is good to take these supplements with a meal because lycopene is best absorbed with healthy fat.They are a bit large, so if you have trouble swallowing big pills, you might want to consider another brand. They are manufactured in an FDA inspected facility, but the label does not say where that facility is located. I have to assume it is not the the USA, which I would prefer.They don't have a lot of information about the company on their website. They sell several brands as well as their own. Surprisingly, they do not have Lycopene listed for sale on their website. I didn't find any complaint against the company, so they are legitimate. It is always hard to evaluate a product like this without a track record in business. They appear to be good, so I will keep taking them.
