Perhaps the most coherent and concise textbook I have ever read! Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a sweeping introduction to Project Management. It does a great job preparing you for the PMP as well.The book arrived on time and fits product description.

I have been a student for 3 quarters now and have dumped too much money into books only to find out they were irrelevant the following quarter. Than god for Amazon rentals and the savings at that.

I used this book religiously! This comes as a shock considering my undergrad classes required textbooks that were never used.

I’m not sure it can be helped due to the subject matter but the book is a slog to get through. I can deal with that, but the digital rental copy is poorly implemented. They’re so paranoid about pirating that it’s basically just a string of one page .pdf’s. The is no search function, no way to jump pages, no linked index or chapter breakdown. The only way to navigate is flipping a single page at a time. At least with a physical copy you can take a rough guess of the page you want. God help you if you want to go back and review an old chapter. Even better they’ll only let you open it on a mobile device, you can’t just open it in a browser, the one place you might be able to get around a little quicker. Stick with the physical copy.
