While it might not be the intended use of this copper mesh, we had great success using it to keep critters from gnawing through the bottom of our garbage pails.We used some hot glue to adhere this to the rim around the outer bottom of our new pails and it worked perfectly. Our first idea was to use steel wool but this worked so much better.You get a very generous amount of it along with a pair of scissors and more importantly a pair of gloves. It's well presented and overall we were extremely pleased with it. We'd definitely recommend it to others.

We repaired a hole in a concrete wall with this. Having this to put into the hole first gave something for the patch to hold onto, so it didn't just drip out. We are also using it to stuff into the little holes that mice can get into through a dirt basement. They won't like chewing that. The mesh is easy to handle and easy to cut. I am very pleased with this.
