I've had a week to play around with this device. Here are my impressions.SPEAKER:Sound quality is fair, but this isn't going to be replacing most specialized Bluetooth speakers. This is a barebones Bluetooth speaker. There's an auxiliary 3.5mm jack if you want to directly plug in your device for better audio quality. There is no volume button on this speaker. The volume is controlled with your tablet or cell phone's native volume. The microphone on this speaker is also just for the recorded videos, as phone calls silenced the speaker and went directly to my phone. After the call was over, the music resumed.How does this compare in sound to other speakers? I have a JBL Flip 2 speaker and Sonos One 2nd gen speaker that I used for comparison testing. Using the same audio tracks, the Flip 2 was noticeably louder and clearer in terms of audio quality. My Sonos gen 2 speaker dwarfed the spy camera's speaker, with the volume decibels sounding nearly twice as loud at max volume. So this speaker won't be winning any contests or awards, but it does the job by providing adequate Bluetooth audio with no frills. It's plenty loud to have filled my 13'x21' room.Battery life at full volume using just the Bluetooth speaker unplugged and turning off the camera is excellent. I could use the speaker to play music and movies at full volume for over 10 hours. I didn't have time to test it beyond that. The rechargeable battery is removable but it's so large that a standard recharger won't work, so you'll have to plug in the speaker to recharge the battery.SPY CAMERA SETUP:Setup isn't too complicated, but based on similar products, users seemed to have a hard time figuring it out, so here are the basic setup steps. 1)Have your IOS or Android device connected to your current WiFi Network. 2)Download and install the Eccam software from your Apple Store or Google Play store. 3)Agree and allow all settings, including from 3rd party apps. 4)On the video section of the app, click on the plus (+) sign in the upper right corner and select "Configure WiFi to add device" 5)Now switch the WiFi connection to the internal WiFi on the speaker; make sure you turned on the speaker's WiFi on the bottom of the speaker 6)Once the connection is successful, go back to the Eccam app and it should display your original WiFi network and prompt you to enter the WiFi's password.SPY CAMERA USAGE:This spy camera is pretty well hidden and not noticeable to the naked eye. The app has a sound option to hear audio, but the built-in microphone isnt great. You can insert up to a128GB micro SD card for recording. The recordings can then be viewed on your mobile device in the Eccam app. You also have the option to record or take pictures on your mobile device. The nice thing about this camera is that you can rotate the view from left to right with a swipe of your finger on the video image in the app. However, if you're going to use this feature, I'd recommend you have some music playing because the sound of the camera rotating is noticeable and not a normal sound that a Bluetooth speaker would make. The picture quality is decent, but I found the difference between 2k and 4k to be minimal. See the pictures for an example of what I'm talking about. There is also a monochrome night vision option that seems to work just fine.Overall, this is an adequate BT speaker/spy camera combo item that just gets the job done without any fancy bells and whistles, but if the manufacturer wanted to make this item stand out from similar clone copies, they should add additional BT speaker functions, like volume buttons, and allow the built-in mic to take phone calls. The battery life is phenomenal in the event of a power outage or if you just don't want it plugged in for a while.

Had one long ago. It worked flawlessly and I had it for a while. This one was a piece of crap. Didn’t work one time !

It was very stressful to set up because the product did not come with any type of user manual or instructions. There is also no brand name anywhere on the packaging or the device, so I wasn't even able to find anything on Google. I reached out to the Amazon customer service team and they were able to tell me which app to download. However, when I asked what type of battery it takes, they said it didn't take batteries, which isn't correct at all. I didn't know how to take out the battery without breaking it and I had to just keep trying until finally the battery came out. The battery that customer service said didn't exist lol. I could tell by their structured responses that they most likely don't speak English and are copying and pasting generic templates as responses. I recognize them well, as I work for a call center. Still, they should really be more knowledgeable about their products. It literally says on the listing that it's wireless and runs off batteries, as well as the charger it comes with. The battery is big and weird looking with no brand or name on it and I don't even know where to buy one, as it's dead. Why would they sell a product with a dead battery inside? Then when I downloaded the app and set it up, the Bluetooth device very loudly says "BLUETOOTH" and nothing else. Lol, just thought that was weirdBut after all of that, it's set up now and works amazingly well, to be honest. I am very impressed by the motion detection and video quality. It's a very great product when you know how to set it up. Definitely 5 stars if it hadn't been for the complaints issued above.

i am completely blown away by this product. The quality of the picture and the ease of the app is the game changer for me. The crystal clear image and color make it so easy to see anything near and far. I like that I can rotate the camera and see around the room without any noise and no one seeing or noticing. The added Bluetooth is impressive as well. My kids have no idea it's camera! They connect thinking it's a speaker only. So easy to install with the step by step instructions! High recommend!!

It has its pros and cons but the cons were my biggest factored in why it will be returned.Cons: Picture quality is not the best and is worse at night. It has a night vision option which is grey scale and you can hardly make out what is moving. When placed on counter you get mostly counter in the picture. You have to place on the edge of flat surface to get full room view. Notifications were annoying going off continuously even when camera is facing a mirror and catches movement from it. Tried varied areas and no matter what I just kept catching movement when none was found. Can hear the camera moving on your phone app which gets to be annoying when you’re trying to hear what’s being said. But pro is you can’t hear the camera move in the Bluetooth speaker. Set up was awful! Spent hours trying to figure out why it wouldn’t connect to the camera. Set up was easy for Bluetooth. Had to sit next to the modem and still took forever to connect! The manual says to choose smart camera dual but there’s no option for that in the app, so you pick 2.4 and 5ghz option and still nothing. Tried to scan code from app to camera and wouldn’t work, tried wired option still wouldn’t work. Finally tried AP mode and after a few attempts it finally accepted the camera and got it working. I’d rather get a baby monitor then deal with this mess again!Pros: it has the option of two way audio or just one way so you just hear what’s going on. Day time video is not bad but can be a bit grainy at times. Good price if you don’t expect much from it. Bluetooth speaker was decent for playing music on if your in the same room. It’s no high def speaker so don’t expect good quality music playing but it works.
