Jatamansi & Hibiscus Nourishing Hair Oil

I purchased this item after reading the seller's description that lists a host of what I consider "good" ingredients. If you are opposed to using mineral oil (paraffin) in your hair, this is not the product for you. I contacted the company and was told that the paraffin is "approved per norms of ISI & British Pharmacopia/Indian Pharmacopia." My issue is not whether it is approved or not, but as the second ingredient, it should be listed in the description. If using mineral oil is not an issue for you, you may like this oil.As for the effectiveness of the product, I did not use it. My rating is based solely on the ingredients. As one who is attempting to use more wholesome products, I found the omission of an ingredient that constitutes such a large portion of the entire product to be deceptive advertising. Rather than incur shipping costs to return this item, I threw it in the trash.

I purchased Mantra's hair shampoo, fenugreek hair conditioner and hibiscus oil products at the same time. The products have ingredients I don't particularly care to use on my hair such as formaldehyde, silicones and parrafin mineral oil. Formaldehyde is found in many new hair straightening treatments. There is some controversial information out there about it and some of the other ingredients. They all smell great, but my hair felt as if it had a film on it. It took a couple of washings and deep conditionings for me to finally feel it was all out. If you don't have any concerns about these and some of the other ingredients then give it a go.

to make a long story short i only like use natural hair products on my hair. the reason why i use this brand of hair oil is because, it has everything in it to help your hair grow healthy and strong. its good to add it to your hair conditioners or use it as a hot oil treatment. i stongly recommend this product of hair oil, its very good. and you get very fast delivery. its the best !

This oil is great..I actually recieved it early.I opted to massage my scalp and leave on for roughly 6hrs. I then shampooed w/Alterna Caviar shampoo..Moisturized!!Scalp felt great!!No frizz,hair seemed darker,and I love the light scent.I will be trying the Fenugreek shampoo,etc!!*hint* always use sensitive/shampoos that are not harsh(i.e.sulfate,gluten,parafen,petroleum,phthalate,PABA -free)with these oils to retain the value of the oils&health of your hair&scalp.*peace*

I love this product, I use this product for my hair, arms, legs and feet. I little goes a long way.

It doesn't seem to be helping my hair at all I already got the thinnest ugliest hair anyway and this makes it look even thinner and way oily and I have noticed to difference in the way my hair feels or looks I don't think I will be buying this again!

This is best oil for an hot oil treatment and I also use it as a leave inconditioner its very oily so a little goes along way. It is a staple formy natural black coarse hair.

Too strong a fragrance for an ayurvedic product. I would have liked natural ingredients smell over perfume fragrance.
